My wife and I were both really moved. The plot jumps early on were a bit confusing, but once it settled….REALLY good. There was a scene at a mini mart that I won’t soon forget!

Interesting. I liked Andrew Garfield and Florence Pughs' performance and while it won't happen, they both give nomination worthy performances. I also liked that they handled the material well and in a not overly depressing way. I thought the nonlinear structure took away from the movie though. Also, I wish the ending had been different. Overall, at the end of the year, this is one movie I will probably look back at and say I enjoyed it more than some of the Oscar nominated movies as happens every year.

Saw at RFH last Friday and I really liked it. Its story is simple and its script isn’t the best thing but Garfield and Pugh elevate it to a whole other level, it’s so funny and so heartbreaking

It’s funny. Most of my relationships I’ve been in ended up like the movie “Marriage Story” lol. So most likely if I ever get to watch this film it probably won’t resonate and/or seem realistic to me. It may in fact even piss me off because I know I will probably never attain this type of fantasy relationship lol.
