ASR do a fob and lets you manaully control the active flaps that you are trying to acheive - Flap control KN1

If you want to make it sound good, just cut out the resonator and centre silencer and replace with straight pipes. Cheap mod, and it sounds mental when you put foot, but not too loud when cruising.

That small pipe inside the muffler is not for support, it's a pitot tube to take out the residual water out.

This seems an unbelievably complicated way of just diverting the exhaust through a straight through system, all I did on my Morgan was arrange a cable operated baffle to divert by moving a baffle like you have on this, no computers ,wires or other black magic systems, and it never went wrong.

i recommend cutting the middle resonators off the L494. From my research, it seems as if that is the best way to replicate the SVR sound, and gives some pops as well. I am looking to have this completed on my v6 supercharged. Any thoughts?

I want to do this too, remove the resonator. But I'm worried about drone noise inside the cabin when driving on the highway

The svr has the same resonator as the standard. The magic is in a remap and back box 👍

@@0796logsplitter interesting, but for the v6 supercharged models, im trying to find a way to get the closest sound to the v8. As you may know, the v6 range rovers have a higher pitched exhaust note, which i hate, and i just dont know how to get a deeper raspier SVR type sound with pops. I think this is the first ever L494 exhaust study lol, havent seem to find anything online yet. Thoughts?

drumplayer5679 I dont any experience with the V6, just my own V8 l494. My previous car was a 4.2 supercharged which I had fitted with a straight through system removing the resonator. There was a terrible drone at 2500-3000rpm. Good luck with your quest for raspiness 👍
