Hey Nico, I hope I am spelling that correctly. Very sad about Ms. Browns passing. I was listening to your discussion about your neighbor offering his help. I realize you have your pride and all, but you should accept your neighbors offers from time to time. It will strengthen your relationship and make him feel useful. You wouldn't want to offend him, unintentionally. Good neighbors are hard to come by these days. And helping each other builds bonds, sometimes better than family. Good people like to help others. I read of Dominique's passing this morning. I can't imagine what it's like having a food allergy and having to depend on the honesty and knowledge of others to be safe. She was still so young and had a lot of life to live and share still. You did an awesome job on the home repairs, Neco. And you had some great helpers.

Hello, the title of this video almost scared me there . Congratulations on your Blessed new little baby. You could write a booklet on Homestead 101. I remember visiting my Grandparents farm in the 50's with a large white plantation house, with my mother's teenage siblings and cousins there. I crave those days, and now everyone want to return to the country, I'm too old and the thought of my son handling it alone, I think it's too late. Having the loss of a loved one, a close friend is always hard. I was told once that not all of us are ment to shine our light for a long time. So just make sure the light that you spread matters. She will live on forever. Now more than ever especially thanks to the internet her light will spread joy for a long time. Great job on the home repairs. All the loves look healthy and happy and beautiful. Sahara gumball, ring, toy, machines have gotten me more than once to. Lol

Nico, speaking of groceries, I have noticed sometimes the name brand is cheaper than the generic. I can believe you all did it in 1 day. You all have a lot of the same ways I do, only you all are about 20-25 yrs younger. Do it & get it over with, do it right the first time then you won't have to go back & redo then there's work smarter, not harder. I can not get over how big Pharaoh is getting!! My heart breaks for Dominique Brown's family and friends. When I taught preschool one of our little girls had a reaction to peanuts, fortunately her family was nearby, and they were able to get her to an emergency room. We knew her older sister was allergic to peanuts, her parents did not know little sister was also at risk.

Hi Neco and Natalie, I need a handyman at my homestead. I am 72 and yesterday I had to pull a ladder out to change motion light bulbs on my garage. Didn't do one because it is too high up. Maybe I will ask a local fireman.

Are you in a neighborhood? Might be a kid around looking for quick money...$5 or $10 is a lot to a teenager lol. Also, have you tried local Facebook groups? Sometime communities &/or specific neighborhoods have Facebook pages as well which might be a good place to look ❤️🙏🏾

Thank you. I am a police chaplain and live in a community of moderate crime. Porch pirates are prevalent. Trying to get kids to help neighbors is not easy. I have nephews that will help me when they have some time. Oh, I'm not complaining because I know God will supply my needs and I'm thankful.

If that is called SOFFIT you are putting up? If so, can you pressure wash it if need be? I have been praying to find someone to ask…I was told to NOT spray water up there because the wood under would mold😮😮😮 but I have sooooo many bugs and spider webs on my front porch that my WHITE soffit is about the color of yours 🤦🏾‍♀️🤦🏾‍♀️🤦🏾‍♀️🫣🫣 I’m just a 1920’s 1930’s type woman that needs a man for A LOT of things and don’t have one, so a lot goes lacking till I can save up cointsss to pay a handyman….🤷🏾‍♀️…. But if you can answer, that would help me A LOT!!! Thanks in advance!!!🙏🏾

Hey there Ms. Jones, thank you for supporting our content. Regarding the soffit, I also would not recommend pressure washing it while still hanging on the house as that could not only damage the soffit (especially if it is PVC or something flimsy) but also for the reason you stated. I would recommend either taking down the soffit to clean &/or if you cannot do that, you can use a hose or something that does not have high pressure so it does not damage the soffit. I would do that in conjunction with a mild cleaner like a detergent &/or something made to help clean the soffit surface. If cleaning while hung ensure you are pointing the water hose away from the vents that would allow water to enter the roof area & damage the wood. Hope that helps 🤞🏾❤️
