The way they had the villagers screaming and scurrying away REALLY amplified the intensity of the opening of this game as if this track didn't do that enough. Pirates Curse was definitely the perfect Shantae game.

Actually no. The spirits art of Shantae and Risky Boots are from the Half Genie Hero artstyle. And the remix of Burning Town included in Smash is from that game as well
