The price of bee larvae is skyrocketing in our Northeast region especially in Nagaland and Manipur. The farming of hornets has been a lucrative business for so many interested individuals. Therefore, I would like to suggest our people to be more careful in preserving them while harvesting. Instead using fire and other chemicals I would suggest wearing proper suits or gear while harvesting for better reproduction of its kind in the next season.

True... ! For other Hornets... ! But not for Giant Hornet aka murder hornets...! If don't killed then no one is save around that area or even neighbouring villages... And the locals usually go to field almost every day... It's risky.. If you don't believe me try visiting that area after harvesting without killing it.. you don't even need to go near...😂 Hope you come back alive... !✌️

The price for this very hornets speaks for itself... #forYourInfo as you don't seems to know much about Village Life as you must have grown up from cities... 5-7 of these can kill and adult or put an adult bed ridden for weeks...✌️ The nick name is Asian Murder Hornet... Like smaller hornets we can use the preserving method but not this very Hornet.. as we locals usually go to jungle and fields almost everyday... So it's risky..

100% agreed with you of using chemicals, petrol/diesel etc. but when it comes to our village traditional way of smoking with dry palm leaves, the hornet are just being fainted for a short period of time (30-45 mins) and then they become active.
