Samurai Pizza cats had a similar thing. They bought the rights to show it and normally if an American company buys a Japanese animated series they'll get cliff notes for each character and each episode on what was happening. They got *no* cliffnotes so much like Magic Roundabout they just had to fucking guess what was going on half the time and thus Samurai Pizza cats is probably the first ever official 'abridged' series right down to having risque adult jokes and fourth wall breaks. Surprisingly the English dub version is considered the better version even in Japan because of this (the original is considered 'ok' but it was largely forgetable).

Cartoons and Frank Zappa... what an amazing combination. There's a reason why Adventure Time casually busts out _Apostrophe (')_ in _Bad Timing_ (S5E49). Also, regarding Ben's thoughts on watching kids' cartoons as an adult, while that may have been true when said shows were little more than idle time wasting and occasionally-concerning moral lessons in a 15-minute timeslot (and before that, glorified longform advertisements), we're currently in something of a cartoon renaissance (despite Warner's attempts to the contrary), where kids/young teen animated shows can actually be consistently better than their adult alternatives. Cartoon Network and Disney both with their respective "Big Four" shows, plus all of the shows made by the Adventure Time crew, just to bring up a few.

On the vampire hair topic, vampires seem to strongly resist or heal rapidly from any wound not caused by means they are explicitly weak to. If the former, then your hair either couldn't be cut or wouldn't grow back if it could and was. If the latter, your hair could grow back (possibly instantly).

That also depends on the nature of that supernatural resistance or healing. It could be that it's just their skin that is very resistant/rapidly healing. So hair wouldn't be affected. It could also be more a will-based thing (their powers clearly defy known biology and science) and they could choose to make their hair resistant or fast-growing.
