I think they're trying to pull the "this relationship is bad for you, so much so that you'll wreck your life for it because it's consuming you" but the audience is just bored. like, she would've seen that driver if she'd been paying attention but they need drama and for Hardin to add more fuel to his self-hating train so viewers feel bad for him it's obvious they're trying to make it seem not *too* at-fault, rather it's the relationship and not them, and want to still portray both leads as not being the worst and not like they just need to break up and go to therapy already

People really made him into such a bad boy in fan fiction, but he was the youngest of the group and intentionally portrayed as talented but innocent and sweet. I fucking hate that the tattoo artist wanted to 'ease the pain' by giving him alcohol. You are not supposed to be on alcohol while doing a tattoo or drink after a couple of days. Alcohol thins your blood, which means excess bleeding. When you bleed more than normal, it can cause visibility issues for the artist, potentially compromising the quality of the design. Excess bleeding can also thin the ink. Absurd.
