This was a really great summary -- an interview with someone like Roger Corman would have made it even better. But it would have cost a bit more to produce though . . . .

I have a groundbreaking idea for any movie- instead of the black/gay guy dying, have them survive.

I noticed the same thing (and don't forget the guy in the wheelchair)! Doesn't that house have a bathroom? Why'd the black guy have to go outside in the dark for a winky-tink? I've only ever seen one movie, the remake of The House on Haunted Hill, where the black guy is one of the two survivors. Anybody know of any other horror movies where the black, gay or disabled character survives?
