Birthed during a 24 hour long studio session, Master Steve and IDKTHEARTIST’s self-explanatory brainchild, “24inChicago,” showcases pure creativity and freedom as they approached the session with no plan or expectations other than to create dope art with each other. This resulted in a 2-piece combo beat tape. Main course: “Fireside Doowop,” a song that blends 90s Hip-Hop with 70’s funk and that will have you start freestyling instantly. The second song comes with a more modern, yet soulful vibe in “Killem with Change,” which many could argue is in fact the main course. This second piece morphs the energy of dubstep with a soulful emotion- that will leave you begging for seconds. Shouts go out to KobGotIt on the mix and master, Good Jester with the luscious guitar, and Lexa Willow with the lovely background vocals. The “24inChicago” beat tape by Master Steve and IDKTHEARTIST is OUT NOW.
