We Made It! First Stop: West Thumb Geyser Basin

It's been year in the planning and we finally made it to Yellowstone! Entering the southeast entrance, we were greeted by Grand Teton before we got in the park. We had to stop at the signs, of course. Then we went to our first stop, the West Thumb Geyser Basin. The kids were so excited to finally get out and run, which made for an interesting stroll around the boardwalk. Weather didn't stop us short, we finished the loop amid the fattest and coldest raindrops ever just before the hail came down. This was just the first drop in the bucket of this amazing trip. With day zero in the bag, we settled into our campsite and got some rest for the first real day in Yellowstone.

The Teton range looks beautiful 😊 What I love about West Thumb is how the lake looks in the background of the basin. 😊 Beautiful video
