You guys never stopped laughing and dancing from start to finish. All the 2022 PCT hikers who started and finished...or who didn't are all totally amazing. I don't watch tv, so stuff like this is entertainment for me. This is real life. The elements, survival, the trail magic, the determination, new trail friends and families all happening on the 2650 miles of California, Oregon and Washington is just historic and real pioneering adventure. I especially appreciate the hikers like you guys who try to vlog in "almost" real time. Not hating, but a lot of hiker videos are created "after the hike is finished'. What you see is just a highly edited product of a "perfect hike" that happened a season or half a year ago. I'm watching somebody hiking in summer time, but it's now winter. It's a disconnect. Not as good, and honestly I don't really care that much. However, when you post a new video that is just a few days old or even a week or two ago, I watch and feel a connection of a "shared moment in time". I know where you are, and on the map I can see where you are heading. When it's day time, I know you are grinding the miles on the trail. Thru, the desert, or mountain, or getting into town. When I am at work, it is just amazing to think about the fact that "I know some cool people who are on a great adventure" at this very moment. We get all this only because you guys sacrifice many many hours preparing this video, footage, sound and editing. You make and post videos on a regular basis "like it's a job" just so you can share your adventure with friends, familiy and the entire world . Thank you, thank you, and thank you. Hero's you are all. Real people doing real things = real inspiration. One day I want to hike the PCT, or just do a section, or just pick a spot and spread some trail magic.

Thank you so much for your kind words. It definitely felt like a job from time to time but worth it to share these moments with you! You absolutely should experience the PCT in whatever capacity that means for you! ☺️

Wow you made it early enough before harts pass area was closed so you were one of the few this year that touched both border monuments. You must have been one of the last ones to make it. But the good news is that the border has finally opened for those who hit it later. Though much harsher weather if they did. Congratulations 🎉 for making it all the way. I know you will enjoy Oregon when you get back there in future episodes. Hopefully no major fires. If you go early enough you might not hit mosquito season. I think masama is becoming a nice hiker town even better than stehekin. Glad you got to have this amazing adventure. Thank you for sharing it with us. Wish you the best with your upcoming adventures.

We were so fortunate to have been able to reach Canada! It was devastating being on trail with all the hikers that couldn’t. A very somber moment. Thanks for always giving us such wonderful information and comments to read about under every video! Cheers to you!!

Thanks for bringing us along on your hike. It looks like you finished with one last bit of excitement. Thanks for the review of Mazama vs Stehekin. That has been a PCT debate for years. And, it was nice to see the rock painting tradition is being picked up at the north end after Casa de Luna retired their trail hospitality at the southern end. Big hugs, congratulations, and I'll definitely check out the podcast.

Mazama was an awesome town! We recommend going there instead of Stehekin if the crowd is as big as it was our year. The new hostel in Mazama is ran very well!

Many thanks for taking me from Mexico to Canada. I haven't commented before but enjoyed the whole hike with you. I was afraid you weren't going to have a capstone post but thankfully you did. The positive attitude you brought to the hike was fantastic. I've shared your posts with a friend and we referred to you as the "Fun Couple" for obvious reasons. Because I live in the Rockies I'd love to see the two of you do the CDT. No matter, best of luck in the future and thanks again.

Thank you so much for following our journey! Unfortunately we do not have the CDT in our plans for next year but we do have other projects that are in the works. We would love to come out to Colorado and see the Rockies in the near future though! Cheers to always exploring

Like the other comments, it was a joy to follow. I regret that wasn’t able to provide some Trail Magic or a place to stay when you were near San Jacinto, Whitewater, or San Gorgonio. You would have been fun to host.

It has been a REAL pleasure watching the vlogs of your trek on the PCT. Amazing scenery and landscapes. I'm glad you both made it safely. Hopefully any future projects I'll be able to watch them as you post them. Looking forward to it. Just curious how you managed to keep your phones charged; especially with all the video you shot. Well, be safe and God bless you both. 😃 ✌ 🤪

I’m hoping for a 2023 thru next year on the pct and would love to hear more on your thoughts of the trail especially compared to the AT (if you guys would like to and are ready to of course!) if not I look forward to your future content! :)
