that's not possible, they should have double checked the rituals, Turning can only summon out of the deck a "Demise, King of Armageddon" or "Ruin, Queen of Oblivion", but the ritual monsters are "Demise, Supreme King of Armageddon" and "Ruin, Supreme Queen of Oblivion" until they hit hand/field/Grave, either way Rule 0 says they could probably summon anyway

Maximum Valkyr Yeah. The spells were technically usable but still... It would’ve been pretty cool if he drew one of them or they didn’t realize the names weren’t those in the deck or sth. I wanted to see them summoned, but that’s really not all that likely to happen.

This is very entertaining, but let's be honest. If you're from the OG Yugioh days, you know there's way worse cards out there. There's like 100 normal monsters with both less than 500 atk & def, and some magic and trap cards are equally worthless. But that video would be mindnumbingly boring, so good call. ps. I noticed I called them "magic cards" and left it in. Let that age me.

So this is pretty close to a show idea I had. Pretty much get a group of yugioh players a time frame to build a deck out of random cards and make it as functional as possible and then compete in a tournament.

How about a Bulk Column Challenge? Each competitor is given a bulk box and they determine which column they want to correspond to the types of cards: Monsters, Spells, Traps, and Extra Deck. If Column 1 is chosen for monsters, only regular monsters can be chosen from that column; Column 2 for Spells; Column 3 for Traps; and Column 4 for Extra Deck.

My friends and I do something like this... But we take all our shitty box cards, and each pull 40 random cards out, shuffle it up and see what happens. We do get to use our own Extra Decks, though! Fun times!

5:27 Another perfect example is Selene for Endymion, you have to use three monsters including a Spellcaster and it has three link arrows so you can pendulum summon from the extra deck and it's kinda of a given that you'll use odd eyes absolute dragon for the summon so you'd use absolute two other cards on your field meaning you can pendulum summon three from extra deck and get a vortex onto the field for extra negates. *Created synergy*

Bare in mind Selene just so happened to be released after master rule 5 where pendulums in the extra deck had to still be summoned from into the extra monster zone or to a zone links point too

For clarification though. Turning of the World requires you use other rituals from your hand as matetial to summon one from your deck or hand. Since he was given the Supreme versions their names only count as Demise or Ruin while in the hand or field. Meaning to use Turning of the World he'll need both ritual monsters in his hand

At about 6, Alec makes a p good point about TCG in general: a lot of cards probably get printed during a run as space/filler. And even when old cards are revisited with new mechanics, is that a case of thinking ahead or (what i think is more likely) rejiggering arpund an old card so they dont have to print a new one/dilute its effect.

Worst possible deck would be either a deck filled with only level5+ normal monsters... or with all kinds of ritual spell cards... or trap cards that have specific activation requirements you can't fulfill.

If it were in the box, I would’ve added Aitsu (level 5 monster with 100 ATK) without adding Koitsu, so that there’s no way the deck can make use of the whole reason Aitsu is a level 5 monster

You should consider doin' something like Trell's challenge. Each one picks a bad card for the other and they have to build an entire deck with these commons in order to win with this specific card. That would be entertaining, creative and true to the spirit of yugioh. I do that sometimes. Last time I had to win with King of the Beasts (and Moja)

I dont know if you guys have done this but you should have a random box challenge where they build the best possible deck and then without them knowing beforehand have them switch decks before the duel

Have them make the best deck they can out of a random box then right after they shuffle.. swap them. Surprise you're playing with the deck the other person made. Going in blind but your opponent knows your deck

A true story: You know how some game stores allow you to sit and play with friends, so it's like a club? Well...I had a deck that I thought was good, but some random guy took 40 cards from those that are for 50 cents and killed my entire...I don't remember what the deck was, but it had exodia xd I mean...He just beat me with random cards nobody cares about.

I really like the idea behind this challenge but I feel more rules were needed regarding having to make a fully functional/playable deck. For example by making them stick to an archetypes for the whole deck.
