@@SwapBlogRU I love G54 a lot, the English dub by SwapBlogRU (BMI Russian) and the whole team's experiments. When Top Gear failed me after the 2010s ended, G54 took their place. :) Now, it would be cool if G54 made a three-wheel drive Lada, with either the trike, or have the fourth wheel be un-driven.
@SwapBlogRU Жыл бұрын
@@thatguyalex2835 hi. Thanks, glad to hear that, though I wouldn't go so far as to place G54 on anywhere the same level as Top Gear (it used to be a legendary show, and the current version isn't horrible). As for the 3 wheel drive Lada idea - that sounds a bit strange... Why do you think it would be a cool idea?

I think you need to put some kind of track on the rear with suspension. Then replace the front wheels with skis and go hit the powder on the slopes! Basicly a car snowmobile!! Like this comment if you agree and want to see this come to fruition!!

Yes! A Lada snowmobile! Maybe 2 snowmobile bodies in the back and skis on the front in place of the wheels

@Mike Why not make butt tank into a tag-along crew cabin for a fully tracked lada snow monster lol mounting two or three engines wouldn't be an issue and they're smart enough to figure out a way to clutch brake and maybe even neutral steer without the tagalong trailer. Old car parts cut and welded for drive wheels and a old tire tread rubber with some machined barstock for treads. A shorty lada would make a great engine cab for the setup

for a v2, make it mid engine for more weight on the rear wheel and potentially more grip and remove one diff so the gearing is a bit better, other then that, a bit bigger wheels for the front and some stiffer springs and i think this thing should be genuinely usable

That has to be one of the best build idea i have seen on this channel. 1.More weight on the back. 2.take one differential out. 3. bigger tires on front.

All transmissions are hydraulic drives........ they use what’s called transmission or (hydraulic transmission fluid) to pressurize the hydraulic fluid and drive machinery..
@ChrisRepomancincinnati3 жыл бұрын
No I know what he is saying hydraulic motors like what is used to power a wheel on a zero turn mower or skid steer.
@reinekewf79873 жыл бұрын
no you all wrong i mean these types of driving system thats used in constuction machins. normaly they have a enginge thats powers the hydraulic pump and thes pressure powers then everything controled with acturators and controled valves or older machines they dont have such computer you control every valve with the levaers directly. @James Hunt what you mean are hydraulic acttuated automatic transmissions in cars or maybe a TTV transmission. thats a different thing @Repo Man yea thats lanmower is close to this system i guess. i am not complete familiar with such lanmowers i have a seated mower but it use a Visco system its like a torque converter in a automatic transmission but its have not realy a oil pressure its a wearless friction coppling the skid steer is the right thing what i mean. they have such system

Lift the front with bigger tires that would shift some of the weight to the rear wheel for traction. Put dual wheels or wider tires on the front and that would make it a little more stable with some stiffer suspension on the front as well. To stiffen the front suspension you could add air shocks so you can make it softer or stiffer on the suspension. Great videos as always and hello from the USA.

I love watching you guys do all the wild Lada stuff. Now it’s time to make a real drag race car. You need a V 8 Lada motor. Two Lada 4 cyl side by side. Use double row chain to connect them. Or gear drive. Then need a better clutch. Add a floater plate so you can used double disc . Need spacers for the pressure plate but you can figure that out easy enough. Then a bit wider tire. Some traction bars so the rear springs don’t wrap up. Then you need to do smoky burnout. Pour water under tires. We used bleach originally. Fix the brakes so you can lock up just the front brakes then you hold the car with the front brakes . Put the transmission in 3 rd of 4th gear spin tires to about 7 grand engine reeves until tires start o smoke a great cloud of white smoke. . Then let front brakes go. Hold it flat out still smoking the tires. Go until tires finally pull car. Now ready for you acceleration test. Tires will be hot and sticky. Rev to 7 grand and let fly on clutch for maximum charger off starting line. Have anti rotation device on trans just in case it gives up. Get ready to build second v 8 Lada motor. I have another idea coming. Hint in line twin .lada v 8. Dragster.

Could make a huge swingarm off the rear gearbox mount so the driveshaft doesn't change length and mount a shock or 2 off the parcel tray down to the swingarm for suspension. If you mount the wheel above the swingarm so the frame "hangs" underneath the centre may give some extra stability.

OK I have an Idea - vibratory vehicle. What I think you need: 1. 4 wheel drive - all wheels just do the same speed, permanently lock up all diffs to make sure that all wheels always turn no matter what - they will be off the ground. 2. Increase the gear ratio so that the wheels turn really fast. 3. Remove tyres and weld an unbalanced weight onto the wheel. 4. Remove all dampeners from the suspension - the wheels must vibrate. 5. Weld a ski device onto the fixed part of each wheel hub with a vibratory conveyor type spring setup. Lookup pictures of "vibratory conveyor springs" This will translate the vertical vibration onto diagonal vibration. Down and backwards pushes forwards, up and forwards moves the ski. All wheels will now push the car and the front wheels will steer. err... think of something for the brakes.
@morrron53 жыл бұрын
You guys could put huge skis in the front ! and even make some kind of a track at the back to make it a snowmobile (kind of) !!

hehe, nice!, to help with the body roll/leaning, put a stiffer front sway bar on! that will help alot, probly put stiffer front springs also, cuz it looks like only front suspension is having to deal with all the movement. rear looked solid mounted.

That obviously needs shock absorbers for the rear "axle" to soften the swinging, but it also could benefit from two small fuel tanks to add extra weight. Even more useful would be three-wheel drive, where the front wheels could be engaged for extra traction...

2differentials. Frame in the differentials and add spring and shock absorber. Lower rear ride height. Then widen the front tire stance and stiffer springs and heavy duty shock absorbers
@gregpanek5233 жыл бұрын
If you could widen up the front track where rhe wheels are outside of the body so the wheelbase to track ratio isn't as much and raise the front too so it's not doing such a nose dive, it would be much more stable and better ground clearance. Maybe a truck axle in front with tractor tires. Then you could plow through anything especially with weight added in the rear... Maybe put a snow plow on the front, LOL!

2 differentials @ ~ 4:1 ratio with power to the input yoke and one differential @ ~ 3:1 ratio with power input to the axle with the input yoke driving the wheel would net around a 6:1 final drive which may still allow the little engine to get the car going but net a lot more top end. If it needs more grunt you could use a dif that's closer to 2:1 which would net somewhere around 7:1. I would name it the Lada MK3.3 for the 3 difs and 3 wheels. I would also lift the front and install larger tires or skis and add a sway/anti roll bar along with slightly stiffer springs. Maybe find a way to improve on the stacked suspension idea.

@GaisaSanktejo3 жыл бұрын
@@snorb1tz Not too sure about that one, they're way too light and the wheel at the front made them prone to tipping and rolling, which is why the rear wheel concept of the Morgan worked ;) As a side story, my roommate at university (about 20 years ago) told me a tale of how he and his friends got bored and rolled someone's robin sideways down a grassy hill, then rolled it back to where the owner had left it. The story went on about how the owner came along shortly after that, climbed into the car and drove off, totally unaware of what had happened to his poor little robin

Lift the front end and put larger wheels and tires, perhaps out a little bit. Then pull that one diff in and mount it to the end of the driveshaft tunnel, and give it a great big chain or belt to run that rear wheel with.
