Hello everyone!
Welcome to my Let's Play series here in the beautiful town of Riverbend Springs!
Today in episode eight, we're starting off harvesting our small sunflower field, and thanks to the Extended Straw Crop mod by Jos, we get as much money from that as we can! Then we get straight into the job I've been waiting for since the series began and that's creating our big field! Following that there's a cultivating contract paying just over $18K!! Can't NOT do that one can I! We finish off the morning killing off the weeds in the wheat and the barley fields, and then spreading lime in the new field! All in all it's a very busy morning down on the farm!

Always a pleasure watching your videos, thanks for your time! I don't know if you know or not but if you don't have any animals and straw not being worth that much if you will not use straw swath on your harvester you get a mulch state on your field I don't think 22 was that way?

Yes it does add up to your yield bonus although I do think it's a small amount but on a larger field like you got there at the farm it adds up.

I was wondering what you did with the fence on your plot! I commented before about having the same plot and using the grass plot across. I delete the red barn and replaced it with the same one like you but my fence stayed up. What a weird bug. I love the fence so much and maybe you can save to buy an even better fence. The original fence is actually undeleteable. So I'm stuck with it but I don't mind. Looking to see how the farm grows

Hello mate! Aah interesting! Guess it was one of the lesser discovered ‘bugs’ before the patch! Yeh I really liked that fence, I may well put another one up in due course….when I can afford it! Fencing is damn expensive! :)

Another great video. I took a look at my own save and it looks like the fence that runs along the path is tied to the red barn but the one that runs around the outside of the farm land and alomg the road is tied to the farm house. I tried rebuilding the one tied to the red barn but keep getting a restricted area message.

Hello mate! Yeh you may be right as I did delete both the red barn and the farmhouse. I also get the same message too regarding placing down new fences. Even with free mode toggled on! Very frustrating! It’ll be fine I’m sure when hopefully the place anywhere mod comes back! :)

The Fence , I think it has to do with which way you begin FROM SCRATCH , FARM Manager ect....

Hello mate, I’ve checked and it doesn’t matter which mode you start in, it’s tied to the farmhouse and the red barn. Deleting the farmhouse deletes some of it, deleting the red barn deletes another part of it! :)

So the fence line is still there on the farm I started in the same location

Yeh if you haven't deleted the original farmhouse and/or red barn the fence I believe will remain. From what I saw on my test save, part of the fence is 'tied' to the farmhouse and part to the red barn :)
