I feel like fighting dive is really fun but it can be frustrating the first few times because it feels like there’s nothing you can do, you don’t expect a guy to double gl you around a corner or be in your spawn with a bow within 5 secs of a round. But when you’ve played it 2-3 times i feel like it’s very out playable if you’re smart

i dont hate any weapon i hate certain play styles. i hate bows that sit 100 meters away but i love hynra running around all day. i hate gls that camp corners but epic will try to use movement to make you miss and outright duel you like a 140 hc user.

The thing I find frustrating about unique players is that they are so good with a super niche loadout and I am just not smart enough to counter it the first time I play against it most of the time. Virtue calling that toxic setups are off meta and readily acceptable is not an agreeable point to me. They are rage inducing and trolling. Bows, sidearms, GLs, and even submachine guns were not native to the original game or its playstyle. They are great for variety yes, but the type of game play that they promote is not healthy for the competitive nature of the game. Because 1 they are unbeatable, or 2 uncountable in certain situations. Also, making that call while using meta weapons is not helping your case in my eyes. Your recent takes make you sound victimized and like you lack the understanding of the competitive reaction when you’re a VERY good and competitive player. A crucible where we all sit around corners and wait for our health to regen because we’re dodging abilities or extremely weak from one shot high damage weapons isn’t healthy for the game or promoting extended playtime. I’m a 1.7Kd average player, and go flawless 1-5 times a weekend. I play all 3 characters with titan/hunter being my main.

Yeah I honestly agree,and while I don’t think HCs aren’t meta but bungie has made them a useful pick in the sandbox.The GLs Bow and Sidearms feel way too overtuned in this game because like you said they lack counter play and not because there is none,but for the simple fact that loadouts like these are uncommon.
