I got so tickled watching your cat "perform" while you two were talking and gesturing, the kitty watching your every move and acting like it considered itself the star of the video.! So funny (the cat).

Thank you, I was having a hard time holding back from laughing because she kept trying to get Peter's attention with her paw and Peter kept talking! She is so funny! Have a great day, Lynette and Peter

So true and time seems to get away from us when we are this busy! I am definitely grateful for this experience though as logging like this may only happen once or twice in our whole lifetime! Thank you so much for viewing, have a great evening, Lynette and Peter

It sounds like you have learned some really valuable things that you can take into the woods with you for that second half of the load - and you can walk back out knowing that you were able to optimize the standing wood that you have. The buyer sounds like a decent guy - how awesome that he took the time to give you pointers - that is great! Such an interesting video - glad you are having success with this venture! ps: enjoyed the cameo appearances by your pets :)

This sure has been a huge learning process all the way around! That Log buyer brought his own saw and within ten minutes had that whole pile sized up! Thank you so.much for all your encouragement, it actually means so much! Even mentioning our pets makes me see how genuine you are! They are something else! Even our farm animals are pets! I wish everyone thought of farm animals as pets! Have a great night, Lynette and Peter

It seems like a shame almost that the logs are being sold outside our country! There may come a day some day that America will need to learn to be craftsmen again! Have a great evening and it's always great to see you comment, Lynette and Peter

Hey you guys! I finally got around to watching your logging videos. Very interesting work! Even though you guys didn't get all the video footage of the logging u wanted, I can only imagine it was a lot of work! We unfortunately don't have any trees like what u guys have growing out there. Anyways it was a great video series. I hope things continue to go well for you guys. Someday I would really like visit ur farm. Talk care & talk later Paul

Hi Paul, this has been the busiest few weeks ever! We never imagined how adding something like this into our already crazy schedule could affect so many things! It's all working out, but I'm still hoping to get some footage up! We really worked our Farmall M's! Have a great evening, we will talk soon, Lynette

Beautiful! I'm so happy your walnut cutting venture is paying off! I've got a pile of black walnut I would like to have milled. I will and have burned black walnut in our wood stove for years without issues. We have some plow days coming up and hay rack ride to give at the Rail Road museum. Looking forward to more videos! Hi Martin, thank you and we are totally looking forward to more of yours as well! I feel like this past week has been so busy and non stop! I was thinking your plough days must be going on soon! I'll have to check and see if you uploaded a video! We appreciate knowing about your experience with burning black walnut! We were thinking that in the parlor it might be okay to burn! I would love to have some of this milled! We really need to figure that part out because all I see is potential with this wood! I know this wood needs to be sold, but the smell and color just screams the need to be crafted into something beautiful! We will definitely get footage up from the ploughing get together! Have a great evening, Lynette and Peter

@@backtothelandorganicfarmer6861 I should have mentioned, before I burn it, I like to let it cure/dry about 5 years.

@@martinbenton742 I bet that smells so good when it burns! Black Walnut is my favorite smell on earth I think! I will mention that to Peter about aging the logs( there is a very real possibility that we can let it age that long before we try it) thank you!

Okay! I see this fine channel soon branching into marriage counseling? More diversity! Can't wait for the next installment. I suppose every married couple who dairy farm together e v e r y s i n g l e d a y could use some advice on developing positive alternatives to murder. Well, not Laura and I... obviously... but I'm sure "those people" are out there... Keith-

Haha, I'm still smiling at your comment(we all need to encourage each other)! Maybe we could do a collaboration video when this wood project is done( I'm actually serious about this), we can share how to stay positive and have fun while working side by side with our spouses! It could be eye opening lol! Have a great day and Peter and I are always here for you and Laura! I am thankful your here for us! Lynette and Peter

Hey Max! Missed yall. China's economy is going down right now so I pray it works out for you. The company I work for makes things like gun boxes, display cases and different wooden products. We use mostly walnut and oak and there is such a thing as Walnut poisoning which is why we cannot sell out wood chips for like animal bedding and such so I would do some research before using it as firewood just because we love yall and want you two around awhile. Yahweh bless! ps in case you want to have a look our website is thewoodgallery.com/

We missed you too! This past week has been a non stop rush! I will actually be very happy when we aren't on a tight schedule! This whole export environment is so scary to us! We hope things start to straighten out and fly right lol! I wish the company you work with could use some of this limb wood( it smells like heaven)! Thank you for the info on the burning of the walnut! I want to be around for a very long time! I have allot of things on my bucket list that I havent done yet, so I very much appreciate your comment! Have a great evening and thank you again, Lynette and Peter
