We meet the "Hobbit" Descendent - Homo floresiensis

Scientists have discovered the first floresiensis fossil, stone tools and animal remains, in 2003 in the Liang Bua cave of the remote Indonesian island of Flores. This first specimen - a 1.06m tall, 30-year-old adult female called LB1 - comprising a nearly complete skull and an associated skeleton, which includes several limb bones, hand and foot bones.

No. He is a modern pygmy not related to homo floresiensis. They are homo sapiens who evolved separately millenia after the hobbits extinction.

​@@julioequinonesthere are pygmies in that irland. The study of their genomes didnt indicate a diferent hominin ancestry but neandertals or denisovans, just same as other normal height People in that irland. It is called island dwarfism and it happens with many species

Just wonder how the now famous skull and accompanying partial skeleton plus the various other bones ended up in that cave? Presumably they were too primitive to bury their dead and even if they did they wouldn't do that in the cave they live in?
