Loving your tour as a Angelino, I have seen many changes. Joann Woodward, is Mrs. Paul Newman. In 1994 when I lived off Hollywood and Vine, I would go for walks, i will never forget the look of pain and disgust of these poor tourists who spent their life savings, when they stepped out the tour buses. I would get asked where the movie stars. The city has significantly cleaned up. It was moslty hookers (male & female), sex shops, liquor stores, and of course illicit drugs back then. So glad you got there when it had been cleaned up. Loving your channel.

Thanks for making a great video of Hollywood. I know now never to visit 😂😂😂. Joanne Woodward was married to Paul Newman and is still alive but I didn’t know she was the first star on the Hollywood Boulevard walk of fame so I’ve learned something 😀. I spent my week in my campervan at Barnard Castle in Co Durham, made famous by Dominic Cummins who went there to test his eyesight after suffering from COVID. It was fabulous. Back in 1980 I drove to Hollywood a couple ,times a week and once drove up to the Hollywood sign. It was in terrible shape, quarter inch plywood and two by two supports, it was shakable and had old set of lights around it. It has been fixed and now is really really well built.

We found everything cheap. We walked the stars , a tour on a bus to the sign but could also view just off the walk. The HOLLYWOOD sign was originally made of wood. It burnt down & was rebuilt.

Hello Newby's... once you get passed the "touristy" cities, there is a lot of North America to see. The Grand Canyon, the cliff dwellings, the Rocky Mountains, mining Ghost towns, Washington State (maybe you'll see big foot). Yellowstone with Old Faithful the geyser, mud pots, buffalo, and elk. More 4 legged wildlife than the two legged. Rodeo (ro-day-oh) Drive is where the Stars shop. JoAnne Woodward was a star, mostly on Broadway and was married to Paul Newman for 50 years... almost unheard of in Hollywood. Ronald Reagan was an actor before he entered govern- ment, governor of California then as President. America is still trying to get cured of Trickle Down Economics. Lord only knows what Trump did to get a star. Someone defaced it a couple of years ago and someone defecated on it🤭🤭🤭. There's so much to see, so little time. Wish you had time to go see Manchu Pichu. Europeans thought Natives were not smart, but the Inca were way ahead of the curve when it came to crops, irrigation systems, and road ways. If you run out of time this trip, maybe next time. With 50 states, Canada, Mexico and Central America... you're only scratching the surface. I like the new carrier for Caruso. 💖Viva Las Vegas 🎲🎰🃏

I started following you with great interest and growing respect after seeing you on the episode of Raising Voyagers,. I had a lot of catching up to do and loved all of your videos, especially Africa. But then I saw your episode in Hollywood and quickly detected your sarcasm and disdain for Hollywood. Why did you go there? I am not a fan of Hollywood, but there is a history that you obviously are unaware of, Yes , Sunset Blvd.is somewhat seedy , but you should be careful about showing your disrespect of an area that you have little knowledge of in a country not your own.You were laughing at the movie industry which has brought a lot of viewing pleasure to millions of people for many years. Both John and I have travelled to some interesting and not so interesting corners of our planet and we are always looking for the positives. We certainly love to watch movies, and laughing about them would be hypocritical.
