We Missed You! Searching For Spooky Things At Target & Building New Toys For Jackson! | Home Vlog

In today's home vlog (yay!) we hang out at home and do our normal everyday routine. Then we head out for a Target run to see if we can find any fun spooky Halloween things, costumes, candy, home goods, stuff like that. Sadly we were a bit too early because the spooky things don't start coming out until the day and also later next month. We'll be back for sure! We also check out the toy and game aisle, for science! Then we head home, eat some dinner, put Jackson to bed and then we put together his new toys! Tune in tomorrow to see if they're Jackson approved! That "LMNO" bit seems to be the hardest part for toddlers to articulate. I'm sure there are technical reasons why (lots of quick mouth/tongue moves) but it's fun to watch kids when they get to that danger zone. Jackson sort of ceded control to dad there and watched carefully. He's gonna get it soon!

Love this so much!! My son just turned 10 Years old on 8-25 and I see so much of him in Jackson. Same blond crazy hair, same laugh (especially with the Daddy raspberries) and same smiles. I miss that time and I don't know how we got to 10 years already??!! I know everyone says this, and I know you know it too, but enjoy every wonderful, crazy second. Jackson has grown tremendously in the last few months, for sure! And hearing him talk, and sing just melts my heart into a big, gooey puddle. I hope it doesn't sound stupid, you'd think he was MY kid, or at least my nephew or something (maybe that's it, he reminds me of my nephew, who left my life MANY years ago, and is now passed away) but I guess because I've been watching you guys for so long that I feel that way. He is just such a precious tiny human. But then again - with you two as his parents, I never doubted he'd be anything BUT unique and a treasure!! And he looked ADORABLE in his Halloween pajamas!!! LOVED you playing with the toys at Target, Tim, I would have done EXACTLY the same thing!! i Wanna go wander around a Target and make comments with you guys someday - sounds SO fun!!! :) I didn't have a Cozy Coupe ('m WAY older than you two! LOL) but I did have a metal fire engine that I pedaled, and I would actually spend HOURS planning how I was going to ride it on the Hutchinson River Parkway (in NY) to Rt. 95 (in CT) to see my grandmother and cousins! LOL Great job building all that stuff, Tim, you're so handy! My little sister had a bunch of Fischer Price, they were all SO well made, and I, like Tim, had SO much fun playing with them! :) Can't wait to see Jackson play with al his new stuff!! I loved playing with toy food as a kid, and now I am a culinary school grad and I am working on my food science degree. You never know what your kid will have a passion for, so it is cool he has a variety of toys and experiences. Also, what a mood the parents playing with their kids toy before the kid plays with it XD
