Castling: if your King and Rook haven't moved, there's nothing in between them, and you are not in check or castling through/into check the King moves 2 squares in the direction of the Rook it's castling with, and the Rook ends on the square next to the King, Opposite of where it started En passant (French: In Passing): when you move a pawn 2 squares (only available on the first move with that pawn) if there is an enemy pawn next to it, the enemies pawn can capture your pawn as if it only moved 1 square, BUT only for 1 move, after that you no longer have the choice, this results in the capturing pawn going to the square behind your pawn, but your pawn is taken Pin: when a piece can't move because it's blocking an attack on a piece of greater value (Pawns:1, Knights/Bishops: 3, Rooks:5, Queen: 9, King: Infinity) (WARNING: some enemies could sacrifice the higher value piece to gain an attack elsewhere) Absolute Pin: a piece can't move without revealing an attack on the King, this piece CANNOT move unless it is in the direction of the Pin until you either move your King out of the Pin, or get rid of/blocking the attacking piece Skewer: When a piece goes to a Square that attacks a Higher value piece, but if it moves it will still get another high value piece (imagine attacking the opponents Queen with your Bishop but when it moves it reveals an attack on their Rook) (doesn't have to be high value pieces, could be used for getting unprotected pieces and forcing trades) Fork: when you attack either 2 weaknesses at the same time, or if you attack 2 higher value pieces at the same time

I love it, how tewtiy just didnt play (24:31 e.g.) the Move Adora to the 8th rank (just go completely to the top) pinning the bishop to the king (if the bishop moves, the king is in danger, so any bishop move is illegal) and then taking it with moving your dark-square bishop next to Sabers black-square Bishop and then Adora taking the bishop with a solid check...should bring you in a very solid position and win the game for you.

Not really. There are 4 options, not 2. Moving the king to one of the 2 squares would've made Sabre lose immediately. Blocking with his rook would hang a mate in 1. Blocking the check with his bishop however would've worked for Sabre, though Tewtiy would have a better position and a decent attack.

Pawns can move up one then go top left or right and then the pawn that it took is gone. Only works in the 5th or 6th row. In the middle of the board where the two rows are which is the middle. That's the only rule allowed for pawns to do that maybe.

Ryan's "legal" move towards the beginning is only possible if you haven't moved any pawns on that particular side of the board. He moved the far left pawn first which would then leave his guard open, meaning he cannot actually play that move since he already moved that far left pawn. Saber won by default.
