i'm not even kenyan but i lived in kenya before, been to nigeria long enough to evaluate lagos, and ibadan (sadly not abuja), visited 12 african countries, living in englad now but i can tell you Kenya is literary the best place in the world, not only for great holidays etc but if you wanna find a country where you'd wanna spend a boring forgettable wednesday without wishing you were somewhere else, Kenya is the place, and not just in the capital nairobi, you'll not feel differently in other cities like kisumu, mombasa, nakuru, naivasha it's just one giant wonderful place. Congratulations to the Kenyans for creating a wonderful country

I can understand hat families might not spend enough quality time as a family. If I were boss, nine to five, normal workweek in unusual times. Like a bank, eight holidays, three occasions, accrue one sick day a month. Continuing Education days. Three personal days. Four or five weeks vacation. Days off if emergency or death. If kids are sick, days off within proper protocol. Other than that, sleep eight hours, plenty of time spent with family, or bicycle riding alone or with family. Along those lines. Health, wealth, happiness. Live long and prosper.

WOW, I knew the Nigerians where the most graduated foreign group in the US. I never knew they where ahead of everyone. This explains the quest to demonize them all over the world. They haven't done anything more then these hateful people. If you demonize them attempt to smear their reputation as a group then they can stagnant their progress. One thing I do love about my Nigerian brothers and sisters is they will not be stopped. They have already failed.

Esther Agoda we came to the U.S from Nigeria when I was 2 and my brother was 4. My mom said it was hard retaining the language when we started going to school because we didn’t want to learn. She didn’t have a group of folks who spoke our language around. So I understand your story. I’m teaching myself, and every time I go visit, I immerse myself in the language. We are Nigerian, it’s in our blood

Welcome back home and may doors of opportunities open up for both of you, Africa needs us just as much as we need it. My family and i are moving back to Kenya in October God willing, we have two daughters aged 10 and 8 and though they will definately miss their friends whom they've grown up with, they are very curious about the new life in Kenya. As parents of afro italian children we knew our girls need to be with people who are like them, may sound crazy for some to hear this but most countries in Europe will never accept people whose skin colour is different from them. Sad!

I love that your WiFi concerns are no longer an issue here in Kenya 🇰🇪. Actually, Kenya has faster internet speeds than some Western countries. Kenya and Madagascar have the fastest internet speeds in Africa. Really love that you moved here. I have traveled the world quite a bit, and to Nigeria more than any other African country (mostly on business travel)...and trust me, I understand why you chose Nairobi over Lagos. As for getting to know on what to get where in Nairobi...I’m right here. I was born in this great city and have grown up here. 🙂 You may also want to check out these You Tube channels by Kenyan bloggers who do natural hair blogs just like you: ❤️Craving Yellow (a Kenyan who lived in Australia and recently moved back to Kenya) ❤️Sheila Ndinda-you’ve probably seen her pics on Pinterest or somewhere on social media..she has a blog -African Tresses and Treats (or something like that). Start with those ones. 😀 You’ll find others soon. Karibu Kenya (Welcome to Kenya) 🇰🇪
