The crossbowmen doesn't have the range of the archer so you can't place them on high places I think they're to put behind the knights 😁🤣

You can hold Alt to see what you can currently build/upgrade. You can build more things on a map by upgrading your castle. If you upgrade your farms you can get a really nice amount of money. Crossbowmen do more damage than archers and are armored against ranged attacks, but they have low range, so they might need to be placed right next to a wall. If you pause you can see what night you're currently on. And the crowns are quests related to the map. The devs are planning to release more content

The goldmines give less money overtime, top left you can see the description of your buildings, helps when choosing building to make when you aren’t familiar with em, also if you want to be more involved in combat, spear with the upgrade to your attack is best but builder is great

Personal advice 1. Economy = power - focus on earning money from the beginning, as many houses and farm fields as fast as possible, and the "builders guild" (upgrade 1 level 1 house to level 2 for free, it's a long term investment) 2. Lots of walls, lots of units - The units respawn over time while fighting and the walls keep the enemies at bay so the units have time to respawn, towers are just extra damage. 3. Have fun

So, if what I saw is accurate the Crossbow guys should be treated similar to that of a shotgun, high damage low range. So, it's probably a good idea to have them in areas where they complement another unit like the melee boys.

This game is a fucking ton of fun. I almost 100% it. But if this seemed like a close call without the challenges active, I would recommend you to build as much economy as possible early on. As a rule of thumb, you work with the bare minimum defenses early on, so you put all those coins into econ, so that by the end you have all of the econ and it will allow you to buy all defenses for the last night (Basically, harder early, snowball to endgame). Either way this was super fun video. PS: All units are pretty strong but under specific circumstances, crossbow men are pretty good at dealing with enemy ranged units cause they tank ranged hits, and deal quite some good dmg, but have very short range themselves and suck against melee. Generally throw them against archers, and do not fixate their position unless you're sure they are in range cause, again, they have a small range, they might not attack anyone if they are fixated.

I really like games like this, they make me feel like I'm not so crap at gaming. I used to love gaming as a teen. Then games got all 3D and I got stuck in a corner.. I git so disheartened that I completely gave up on gaming. But as my own kids got older and started with things like mine craft and roblox I started to look for things that maybe I can get into. I don't have the time to play much because my autistic toddler is one hyperactive little dude. So if not constantly watched or entertained he destroys everything. So I watch a lot of games on here. But I couldcreally see myself playing this ,it's not only cute but something I feel I can play without looking like a complete noob.😅😅
