Still getting my head round why jack Clarke left Sunderland, obviously did amazing for Sunderland football club and it would seem he wanted to leave for premier League football and maybe money came into also from his side and also Sunderland side but from day one going to Ipswich would clearly be the wrong decision because they were cast iron certainties to be relegated in my eyes which seems to be the case. Crazy decision by jack.

He never wanted to be here. It was a stepping-stone for him. We've been better without him anyway. We play as more of a team now instead of a one-man band. Good riddance.

Surprised anyone would say that. A footballers dream is to play at the highest level while simultaneously earning a high enough wage to not have to work again after retirement. Ipswich gave him both. If rumours are to be believed they at minimum doubled salary, some sources say tripled it. Would you not leave your employer to work down the road for triple your salary?. I would. You mention Ipswich are certain for relegation- they’re far from certain. Had a tough start and faced most of the top sides, they haven’t ever looked out of their depth. Even if they go down they still have wealthy owner who can reinvest to ensure they go back up .

@@Asht-mj4wy just my opinion that's all, course I understand wanting to better yourself and earn more but I just think Ipswich was the wrong choice. Good to get other people's insight through.

@@daviddonnelly7182why not Ipswich?. Highly regarded young manager with an outstanding record, very wealthy owners, premier league side who have invested significantly during the summer, good fan base with solid numbers every week, Suffolk is nice part of the country. Even if they go straight back down Clarke will have had a season of premier league experience and has put himself in the shop window. Will still be on a higher wage than what he was on a Sunderland.
