Jeremy Kyle speaks to former Conservative special advisor James Price about the battering the Tories got at last week's election after a disastrous campaign. With Rishi Sunak perceived as dropping the ball time and again, the question now stands as to who will be the party's next leader to oppose the new Labour government.
The pair also discuss more of this week's news, including the triple crossbow murder carried out by Kyle Clifford, who has now been caught, the UK's ongoing migration crisis, the new Prime Minister Keir Starmer's upcoming meeting with President Joe Biden and more.

Sunak has to go down as the country's worst Prime minister, absolutely incompetent and useless. This was what the country got when we had an unelected politician regardless of his background, religion or colour.

@@imbonkers3629 the wealthy people will leave your country or transfer the investments to other countries if the tax is too high, they know how to protect their wealth very well. Dyson has cut 1000 employees in UK and transferred part of the investment to Singapore soon after Labour is elected, because Singapore has very low tax

Having watched Steve Baker speak to The Spectator yesterday, it is a huge shame that he has lost his seat . He is/was a Small Government advocate and a LEADER. Exactly what the Conservatives have been missing for most of the past 15 years. As it is, he is pleased to be leaving politics. Bottom line, is that today's Conservative & Unionist Party is neither Conservative or Unionist - and Cameron started that transition 16 years ago - he made them a LIBERAL Party - just as Labour had become 15 years before. IMO we have had 27 years of Liberal Government (rather than Labour or Tory), which implies that UK must be a very liberal nation - but the number of actual MPs masks the true thoughts of the nation - 4 million+ Votes for Reform, but only 5 MPs tells us that. Tories need to return to their roots.....but I am not sure they will.

@@rokketron It's fair to say that he sees himself as a PRAGMATIC Politcian, and he accused all 'populist' parties of having no solutions - to which I found myself thinking ; Well, What solutions have the Tories offered this past 14 years apart from higher taxes and big government ? OVERALL, I was impressed by how he spoke.....I do think that he was a bit of a lone voice.
