I look at our squad and I think bang average, I also look at Forest and think the same, but with just a couple of additions our squad could be Champions league position. Firstly Ange we do need a plan B we need a Chris Wood type bench warmer (I thought Richarlison would be that one but is never fit) a target man, a different dimension for Maddison to hit? Next we need a proper CDM doesn’t need to be flash just consistent, kalvin Phillips springs to mind, yer I know but in our team he would work, no more silly tackles or giving the ball away in our third when playing out from the back, comfortable on the ball and can spot a pass! Finally another CB just in case you know like Joe Rodon ( ah wait a minute 🤷‍♂️) so that’s the basics on the cheap next we need just one or two stars, sell Son, send Werner back (I think he is still on loan?) sell bissouma (never been convinced by him) sell Richarlison (always injured) I am not convinced by porro, but him, spence, Grey, Rugion, Davies and Udogie give us good options and cover. I would like to see grey in Midfield not defence ! I am happy with GK Forster has been good cover but is getting on a bit we don’t seem to trust our “youngsters” in goal so either play them or get shot and get another in. But most of all stop Levy meddling in the squad, team selection and buying and selling stop this cycle of brilliant managers getting frustrated ! ! Let them do their job !!

Injury prone players recruitment is part of the problem. Recruitment of 5th or 6th choice players is a major contributing factor to team performances even if we were at full strength. Rehabilitation, Strength and Conditioning, warm-up and cool-down leave a lot to be desired. Daniel Levy’s First Class Honours in Economics and Land Economy from Sidney Sussex College, Cambridge, is contributing to a great business and one of the best stadiums in the World. However, this does not translate to consistent winning and attractive football. Fans have different priorities, first and foremost fans want to win even if ugly at times. Fans need a safe clean stadium up to the task to view skilful attractive winning football. Possession football where we pass the ball from side-to-side and then back to our goalkeeper which lacks penetration is boring to watch.

I don't dislike him as part of a squad, but he's a multiplier for how badly everyone else around him plays because they have to link up with a winger that offers almost nothing in general play.
