England is in LOCKDOWN, HOWEVER SOME BANKS ARE OPEN. MOSTLY 10am till 2pm. Food shops and pharmacy are open. WHY can't Ja do the same? Then put social distancing in place. 2m RULE. Small amount of person's in a shop at one time.

It is not every Jamaican, I am sure, who has the financial resources readily available, to go to the grocery stores on the specified days and time. Thus, essential services should be made available at all times. Furthermore, I have not heard of any programs implemented to assist those on the margins of society, seniors and shut-ins. It is becoming counter productive, the rules and regulations the government are putting into place when people might not even have the means to buy basic necessities.

This is why our Jamaican people needs to be more self-sufficient and be more prepared for disasters like food shortage. Our Island is one worlds most fertile soil to plant our own little vegetables such as; calloo, tomatoes, peppers, potatoes etc and especially people who have a little space in their back side or front garden. The government should've given the Citizens at least five days for them to prepare getting food and allowed supermarkets and small shops that sells food to open at limited time on a daily basis like here in the U.K. 😢

Jamaicans need to be more self sufficient. Plant vegetables, try hustle something. What happens if we can't send money , what would happen. Look at the line. Yet when you go home, if your money finish, they treat you bad. Depend too much on foreigners., and st this time most of us are not working, yet they're still calling for money. I have a sister in Jamaica, and she called me every day for a week, it's been a week since I sent her some money, and I haven't heard from her.

I am very sorry about the situation you and the long line of people have found yourselves in, Ms Grant. It's been over a month since the lock down over the world. I know it's hard when you have to depend on others for sustenance, but your source may have a situation where they had to stay put. The Prime Minister might not be the best, but based on what he's seeing,the two day might be all he has in an effort to curb the mass deaths that's bound to happen, based on how everyone is behaving. I am sure some of the blame is yours, because in all honesty, you probably felt that the whole thing was exaggerated and did nothing. I hope you and the others get your supplies and none become casualty. Love each other and pray!

Ackee tree, banana tree soursap tree. Times getting worse. Stop eating imported gmo foods poisonbleeching cream and plastic rice... The Chinese in China going door to door and putting black people on the street. They say a black people spreading Corona. Black people can't buy food. Go to doctor. They sleeping under bridge and Inna bush. Many are students and business men from Africa.
