Truth. The roles have turned and Bedrock now looks better and is more stable with RTX than with JAVA shaders 👍 But only with installed BetterRTX 😅

You can't have ray tracing in Java Edition. OpenGL, doesn't natively support ray tracing. Ray tracing is only supported on D3D12 or Vulkan, which Bedrock Edition uses (D3D). Plus, it uses an actual engine which makes it way easier for development.

you mean rt cores, not raytracing itself. Path tracing actually implemented in java OpenGL shaders. SEUS PT GI for example.

Ray tracing is perfectly supported on OpenGL, it's literally just math that can even run on the CPU. The main issue is performance though, since OpenGL can't utilize ray tracing hardware using conventional means.

There is a mc mod called 'vulkanite' (mod, not modpack) which makes Minecraft use Vulkan. Some shaders support it (by some i mean like 2 shaders that are specifically coded for the mod), but the mod is not yet ready for gameplay

Your textures are amazing, i had some spare time and finally managed to install the betterrtx and with ur textures for it the game looks very fine. Not as the old good Seus and Umsoea but almost same level and most important thing is that its finally achievable and optimised for RTX cards which seus wasnt.

@@creation5389 he vanished from KZbin and patreon but his pack could be still avaible on net if you search deep enough. He had most realistic textures back in the day and detailed to the every single pixel. I wonder why there is no 1024x textures for bedrock and only 256x which looks not so good from distance

What mods do you need to get RT fully supported in the latest Windows edition? Just BetterRTX? There were alway purple boxes missing from the official Nvidia RT pack so I never got to enjoy RT. RT seemed like a half baked feature that never released and kept up with new MC updates.

I have better rtx with hodi textures and defined pbr+ its addons and it seems enough sadly. You cant really apply more texture mods unlike on Java. I wish to have same level of detail as umsoea and ultimate immersion presented but i gotta like what i have. Better rtx offers best lighting i could say even better than all of Seus/Continuum because its just balanced for RTX cards unlike Java shaders. Game is around textures now that can utilise the betterrtx.

How do you run any raytracing packs in bedrock without having the weird items in hand floating way far away from your body, and arms looking detached from body in first person? It seems like the only way not to experience this is by turning FOV down to about 60, which is not ideal.

​@@aura-gd574Better RTX is a mod for RTX shaders. You still need a shader to run it. As for AMD GPUs, you won't get very good frame rate since Minecraft only has DLSS.

@@aura-gd574 Sorry for the late reply. On MC Java, the 6600XT should run shaders just fine. But for ray tracing, like in this video, AMD cards aren't that great since they don't have FSR in as many games.

You can see the difference between java rtx and bedrock rtx clearly. Bedrock rtx uses real light physics whereas java rtx do not use real light physics. Bedrock rtx requires a powerful PC where as java rtx can run in a medium end PC.In other words, Java rtx is not real.I hope that this would help you Edit: I liked my own comment 😅
