I mean I'm going to be straight honest I think from the stuff that I have experienced especially with call of duty and or Apex, (playing call of duty for 13 years, and Apex for its lifetime) In terms of players, Apex is still up and running. I mean yes it is bleeding players, but not as much as call of duty is currently. As a former call of duty player, I hate to see that, but I hate to see this with Apex as well. I just hope they choose to move it into a better direction but knowing them they're probably not even going to listen to a damn thing.

No games mechanics hit like Apex for me. What really sucks is seeing a game that could have been massive just slowly circle the drain due to poor management. I think realistically EA didn't think the game would be as popular as it was on launch, and now they are stuck financing this game they don't seem to care about. Last season was actually first season in probably a year that I got fully addicted to the game again man, and it was largely due to revival/quads making pubs fun again.

Season 0 former player also. I love the game, the movement hooked me from day 1 but once the majority of the original devs left, I knew the days would be numbered. Both Respawn and EA are at fault here but mainly EA. There is as much wrong withthe game as there is right. How many seasons has it been since the sound (footsteps) has been broken? Half of the games life? When you can spend the time and money to create new overpriced skins but cant fix the core parts of the game, then there is a problem. Greed has finally caught up to them and I for one am glad people like Cau7ion are moving on to other games. Maybe it will give them the boost they need to start fixing the shit that is broke, and start giving us the fans what we ask for instead of ignoring us and doing the exact opposite of what we are asking for.

Soulless events, lack of innovation, QoL issues, lack of incentives to grind, and server stability are all pain points for this game and have been an issue for years. I don’t think these AAA publishers understand how hard their cash grab games (Warzone, Apex, The Finals, Marvel Rivals, etc.) are going to tank when GTA 6 comes out and unless they figure it out then they’re cooked by next fall.

We (trio) stopped playing because pubs are cancer right now with these relic abilities, and we have been stuck in ranked getting shat on in GOLD! I don't remember the last time a champion squad didn't have 4k 20B Master badges. We just cant compete and the frustration gets so demoralizing we stopped having fun. Worst season of Apex since launch. My only joy is occasionally getting a nade off when being chased and shouting IDIOT.

Honestly you are still on my top three content creators. DayZ gets a lot of love from its creators, unlike Apex. As a developer I can say that it very hard to deliver something good so fast, 2 months for a brand-new event is not enough.
