You would know for sure if they have annoit and probably get the 3 point in which is exactly what you were missing in next turns. And if they cast annoit on heartfire hero before first strike damage, just shoot the bird, you would be so much ahead on board

I was in the same position and made Mythic pretty easily with the mono black demons deck a couple of weeks ago. It's relatively straightforward to play and the combos are pretty fun, lots of threats for opponents to deal with, and a lot of hand disruption. Not sure how it is with foundations out now though.

Burn isn't as much of a problem in BO3, but if you're low on wildcards and want something that works in BO1, burn/sly is the obvious choice.

The social interaction and crazy cards/synergies of commander can hold my attention for a long long game, with standard, if a game goes longer than like 8 minutes I start getting bored so I'm very get in get out with it so I like Burn/Aggro/Weenies. I can play commander for hours but I wanna either win fast or lose fast in other formats. I don't know if I'm alone on that lol...

In ACTUAL magic, as in paper, where you play versus innovative decks and it is actually competitive and there are crazy card synergies not to mention social aspects, I’m in no rush… there for the experience. If I were playing MTG Arena, the faster it is over with, the better… it’s like watching paint dry but worse because the paint is roping you, to see if it can dry so slowly, that you just give up the will to live…

I prefer it without the mice, running screaming nemesis and more dedicated removal. Its probably not as good but its more fun, nothing like attacking, scorching shot your nemesis post combat and burst lightning for 10. It's like building your own hidetsugu's last rite!

I've been trying out Hidetsugu's Second Rite in Burn, and although it is definitely a dubious card, it's incredibly fun when it works. (I'm running it with Fanatical Firebrand to help me deal damage in increments of 1, e.g. for when if the opponent is at 11 and I have a 2nd Rite in hand, and I'm also using Screaming Nemesis to help shut off lifegain.) I climbed through all of Platinum in only a few days with this, so I'll probably just keep going until it starts being bad

Last month on my climb to do mythic in 4 days I played a guy named "BorosMustPay" 4 times. I didn't have any boros lands or cards so I made it work with mono white. Boros dine and dashed.

I LOVE IT! And it's even more disgusting in Timeless, where it is VERY close to feeling like the true modern Boros burn. I am a burn degenerate to my core and will never let go of my Boros and Rakdos burn decks! hey CGB, just got buttered by a really dumb 2 card combo you should build a deck for. inkeepers talent and vraska, betrayal's sting. thanks to inkeeper, it starts with 12 loyalty counters, so vraska can instantly drop their -9 ability to give 9 poison counters to you, but thats also doubled thanks to talent, so you instantly get 18 poison counters and lose the game.

You should play bo3 and the variant of boros burn with much creatures. Mice just are not good in boros burn and you don't want to use any pump spells or rely on creatures besides screaming Nemesis who is great at shutting down lifegain and trading as a blocker against the aggro mirror and "Heartflame Champion" who is amazing double value in one card. "Slagstorm" shuts down tokens and aggro and combos amazingly with heartflame champion. "Wrenn's Resolve" is very good at getting through your deck to more burn spells. Sideboarding into "Rest in Peace" makes mono blue and azorious reanimator rage quit. Sideboard into Crystal Barricade against the burn mirror and against mono black discard. Destroy evil is also a good sideboard against both mono green stompy, mono blue and azorious, overlord decks, and enchantment heavy black decks. I have much high success winning with boros burn this way.

Remove all the creatures out of the deck replace them with the creatures that deal 1 damage every time you cast a spell and you get a super solid burn deck that doesn't need to attack

I'd rather play against burn than the stupid Boros Auras or Gruul/Mono Red pump deck. Can we get a Monstrous Rage ban for both Bo1 and Bo3? I don't want to play against that card for 2 more years.
