JDub has all the makings of a superstar. Once he puts it all together he’s easily a perennial all star caliber player. OKC fan and have watched him since he was a rookie and even then he was a special player, taking a starting role almost immediately. People point to Chet as the reason OKC is now a contender, but trust me when I say that OKC is not in the position they are in if they don’t draft Jalen Williams. If you notice, the thunder have maintained a 60+ win pace this season even with Chet injured. Shai is the engine that drives this team, but JDub is the super charger that turned the OKC Thunder into a contender for years to come.

100% agree, I’ve heard the rumblings that his ceiling is higher than Shai, and while that sounds like hyperbole it might not be far from the truth

@@strongmoore5007there are flashes of greatness in his game that really make you think he could be better than Shai. The thing about JDub is that he’s an incredibly skilled and smart player, but he’s so strong now and athletic that he can outwork a defender who’s playing physically. Shai struggles with physical defenders, relies on craftiness and slipping by defenders which is often more difficult than just going through a defense. JDub has a better outside shot as well. If he’s hot from three you really can’t stop him because he’s one jab and fake away from dunking it on the head of any defender. Shai is an amazing player, potentially an all timer. But JDub has been my favorite player since he got in the league. I just think at any time now he could get into the zone and start having monster games that really put the league on notice.
