I made a comment last year that this reminds me of what happened to Kevin Beattie who was forced to retire in 1981 at a young age. The longer this goes on the more I dread this happening to Reece too. As I posted on your X post the other day, I cringe when I see CHO playing for Forest comparing him who we sold for buttons to what Mudryk has "achieved"

Its a hard thing to say, but I’ve given up on him. Imagine what could have been in say a 3-4-3 with Nkunku and Palmer as 10’s, and Chilwell and Reece on top form bombing down the flanks. Sadly, its never to be.

Yes its time for Mudryk to be sent out on loan or sold with sell on clauses. I wouldn’t be surprised if Chelsea moves on from Reece James next season bc the dude is virtually never available. He is always injured.

Every time I think about that one good season I always remembered he didn’t even play all of it because we still had Azpi. I don’t think his muscles are built for the highest level but his talent is. Just like Jack.

We need a fit squad. It's difficult for our club to rotate with less competitive players because of James or somebody else who are the best when they are fit but never are often. It has some repercussions on our results and the self confidence of our team.

Think the surgery Reece had was hopefully the 1st step(even tho he is crock now) but he needs a tailored program personal to him, Remember Ruben at the start of his career he was injured all the time as well ,but then he found a regime that suited his body & he hasn't looked back. Hopefully Reece can do something similar or they will look to offload him(if they are not already). Worrying thing with parting ways is that people forget exactly how good he is & if he goes elsewhere and manages to stay fit and ball out etc. doesn't bare thinking about lol. That said no matter how good you are if your injured all the time it doesn't help the team. Hopefully he is being proactive & is looking for a solution himself, as these guys still haven't sorted the shirt sponsor so he may have more luck taking matters into his own hands as must be awuful for him as well. I love Reece and we should persist with him if we can. With that in mind though, he should be nowhere near the captaincy. He's never available and he's not the most charismatic person.

He needs to do yoga and Pilates. He’s so inflexible… then he stretches to reach balls because he’s gained weight and has lost speed, and snaps his hamstring. He needs to reevaluate his whole physique and diet!
