AT 1500+ Ra's winrate was up to 58% for around a week, it's now dropped to 49%. Meaning in the last week or so it's probably been around 42%. Pretty much Ra's winrate pre patch. Turns out people turned their brains on and stopped blind 2 tc'ing or taking risky fwd hunt in vision of obelisks while SS was up. I've done multiple tests with slings and so has Boit, they're probably slightly overtuned as a unit with Ptah and Sekmet upgrades, but as we can see its not correlating into high winrates for egyptian with all gods under 50% now. I hope they sort out migdol units and allow more strategic diversity in egyptian again. Magic said it but it does feel like the devs are anti egypt. We've had Norse at roughly 54-58% winrate since basically the beta and nobody is that bothered. We get one week of slings being OP (before people worked out how to vs it) and everyone went berserk (excuse the pun).

Egyptians are already weakest civilization in AOM Retold, so Electrum bullets is much needed buff to them. And it is not OP as people talk...

They need to do something to make Migdol units viable because spamming barracks units feels bad as Egyptian. Migdol units are supposed to be big and powerful but they all die to one counter cav unit being massed.

Turma should have been the better counter to slingers. The contarius is stronger, but slow training. The bird could do well with the contarius or destroyer tanking, bur turma was the sure way.

I feel turma and all cav are kinda scuffed and overtuned due to the fact they don’t suffer speed loss from having to 180 for hit and run micros. Infantry would at least be able to get pokes in on turma if when they stopped they had 1-2 seconds where they’re building speed back up, and even a first tick of damage could slow them because hey I stabbed your horse.

Aom wiki says Spearmen have 1x bonus against hero turma, same with slingers. Whats up with atlanteans?
