I actually think this wallet looks much better than the M1 wallet as far as cosmetics. I’m not a big fan of that tactical look for wallets and this wallet has a really nice leather look. Might check them out, good review

A cash bar on the inside of the fold would be nice for cash. Unfortunately I'm so used to my M1 Rail, that I can't find another wallet that functions similarly. And I've been looking for something a little lighter or softer or both for a while.

I have a hard time understanding how someone says "this wallet is a good deal" yet still not recommend something. This is the only video I've ever seen of yours and it sounds like you already had your mind made up before you got it.

It’s a good deal at 40 bucks. But I can’t recommend it based on principle. It had nothing to do with the price. Understood? And how could I have my mind made up before receiving it. That makes no sense

I personally think its definitely a good choice for someone looking to get into the ridge style wallet at a third of the price. You seem to agree with a lot of what I think. I guess I'm just surprised by your conclusion.

How are you supposed to make a wallet that is not inspired by any other wallet? It just doesn’t make sense for someone to even care about that. What are you going to make a wallet in the shape of a star because everybody else has theirs in a rectangle? Any wallet you make these days? It’s gonna look like some other wallet. And there’s nothing wrong with being inspired by another product. Think of all the great songs we have that were inspired by all the original blues songs. If you had a problem with it, it would be like saying well. Led Zeppelin sucks because they just copied all the blues guys. That’s just the nature of creativity and art. You’re always gonna derive inspiration and take aspects from others that came before yours. So you can’t complain about it and if that stuff didn’t happen we still have the same boring stuff we had 20 years ago.

Of course you’re going to take inspiration from other designs, that’s just part of the game. My issue is when they copy specific design choices that the other company is known for. You look at this wallet and INSTANTLY think Dango. That’s not ok. And yes musicians take certain riffs and beats from other bands but change it enough where it’s their own. That wasn’t done here. It’s changed yes but there’s tooooo much lifted from Dango. My opinion stands.
