There’s little to no reason to play this game… buying cards seems like the equivalent of buying skins for other games that don’t enhance the gameplay whatsoever. Do yourself a favor and save yourselves from spending time and money on this franchise. This game takes pay to win to an entirely new level to the point that if you pay to win in the game you are openly choosing to lose in real life

If you want cards it's either your life or money. There's a ransom for fun. I'm just going to play myNBA or other games. I'm done with myteam.

I have been having a lot of fun with 2k. I played this game a lot and feel rewarded. It sucks that it is impossible to get these crazy lock ins but for me, auctionable Amethysts have been very much obtainable and it really is a lot of fun when you can play with, for example, Amethyst AD, after you have been working to get this card for some time.

I certainly am playing significantly less, part of the fun I had was the auction house buying and selling to make MT...this year I may log on play 1 game and turn off

Idk.... removing would have been fine if the tax was normal and not 60%. Also the prices for every high OVR card are MASSIVELY higher. If they tweek it, the player market wouldn't be that bad

no auction house low key killed myteam. cant badge out+sell cards. no snipping. cant test out cards without being taxed crazy. can’t believe how sad myteam has become 😢

What I just realized is the player xp is gone from packs. Remember a pack would drop and there would be xp challenges like get 10 dunks with Vince Carter and then you would keep the card if you liked it , or sell him back and buy the next player in the pack to do his challenge

Kyrie, Julius, Pippen, Kemp, Ad are a great nms squad yall trippn. I've beat plenty of shaq and steph lineups. Even with a auction house it was always pointless to lock in for sets as a nms.

8K MT on average per hour so do the math. 1.6 million MT to get KD so divide 1,600,000/8,000 = 200 hours.

2k have done this on purpose and probably wont change it if anything they will make it worse I could dread to imagine how bad the next game will get they are just pushing it little by little and it will not stop as its pulling in bank for them the only way to stop them going down this road is to stop buying their game plain and simple 2k is the same as ea and they dont care about time and effort players put into their game they only care if you putting in money

This player market will eventually make the auction house look like child’s play, especially for specific high tier players.

They could make it work if it was like MLB The Show. The only unauctionable cards are the free cards. Additionally, the card value (sales tax) is reasonable. 2K knew exactly what they were doing and for the most part, people fell for it. When I saw the battle pass, I decided not to purchase the game, and it was 100% the best decision.
