Would love for you guys to make a video all about Ryan on this. Sure he has his family in florida but he is leaving all of his high school friends behind and that can really take a toll on a boy. Especially when he’s known them for so long (saw a picture of Charlie and Ryan as babies on his instagram) how does Ryan feel about this move? Or about starting high school in a whole different state? Will Ryan get his own room? Katie has her own room in your house in florida but that’s rather unfair that she won’t spend as much time in it and gets to decorate it! Whereas Ryan can’t do that since he shares. It would be better that he gets his own room so his house in florida can feel like a home. Hope he adjusts well.

Katie’s a girl, and it would be weird for her to share a room with Brennan when they both come home. Ryan will have the boys’ room to himself most of the time, so I don’t see what the big deal is. Brennan’s the one that will never have a room to himself until he moves out of the dorms.

He is totally the go with the flow guy but as someone who has also moved across the country mid-middle school, i feel for him. It's tough! I just wish they would take him and his feelings more into consideration. Also it's not like these people are dirt poor, they can definitely move to accommodate ryan.

Jill, you might consider posting another video where this decision is explained in more detail. There are enough comments suggesting a lot of viewers don't understand it. On balance, if I were in your situation with a teenaged son entering his junior year with friends he's known literally all his life, I would delay this relocation until after he graduates unless there was a compelling reason to do it now. For me anyway, this video did not provide that rationale. Ryan will now be the "outsider" in his new school and I honestly feel sorry for him.

They are originally from FL, all kids will be in college there, set of grandparents are there, they have a vacation home there, they are boaters....and they love Disney. The move makes sense. I lived there for a short time. Beautiful State despite some of the obvious shortcomings.

Just had to comment to say that even though I only discovered your channel about 6 months ago I feel like you are a great team and would have had many discussions with all members of the family-especially Ryan - before the decision was made and even though it’s always hard leaving lifelong friends before the end of High School - there will be fabulous advantages and adventures for him in Florida! Aww this reminds me of the LeBlanc's. I wonder if they still talk to eachother? But they did the same thing. Had a house in LA and in MD and started to visit LA like every other week and eventually moved to LA full time. Sometimes it's time for a change and although it sucks for Ryan I'm sure he will adapt quickly especially with the golf course as his backyard and he's a nice kid so he will make new friends in no time. I love buc ees! The nearest one to me, near Austin, is the one in Bastrop, Texas. I enjoy taking a drive down there in my beetle every two weeks or so, grabbing an ice cold soda, looking at all the cool things they offer there, and leaving with a few delicious treats. they have expanded outside of Texas. I hope to see the day you all try Whataburger. They are expanding outside of Texas too.
