When you learn traditional Irish dance, you are encouraged to memorize the moves in a dance with both your hands and your feet. This allows you to run through a dance quickly without expanding huge amounts of energy and be able to communicate issues and faults with an instructor. This is a brilliant adaptation of this system. I have no doubt that these dancers could do this just as easily with their feet as well.

take irish step classes. they are irish step dancers. this is how we practice when we cant physically dance and how dance steps were preserved through colonialism :)
