When I saw that table of Halloween I immediatley said to myself- BUY the whole table! I would of offered less than $1000 but would of bought it all. It was a spectacular find! So much fun thanks

Unique is out of their mind with some of those prices. I picked up a 1990 Halloween Witch Betty Boop doll there the other day. The thing was only 4" tall and they had it marked at $40. Luckily it was 75% off so I only paid $10 for it.

US Zone was from 1945 to 1947. Only certain areas were allowed to export goods and US soldiers occupied those areas. It’s definitely antique.

I was curious about that clear ring on the Medallion Class lanyard so I did some digging. Looks like it's for Princess Cruises and it holds the medallions for touch-free boarding, food and drink or "whatever you need" delivery services, locating other members of your party, and things like that. The more you know! 🌈⭐

My gosh I bought blow mold 's for $.50 to $1.00 , each and it was last year Vintage Christmas is still growing strong, I have a few Halloween vintage but I don't collect creepy halloween . You found some neat stuff, I have been collecting Christmas, since 2000, my husband love anything old with Santas, the last thing I found was 2 Holt /Howard Santa mugs for $1.99 each that was in April of 2024😊❤

You should look for YA books by John Bellairs. I’m an 80s kid and these were my favorite. Edward Gorey illustrated. A little different than your normal pickups, but I think you would appreciate.

Some of the Halloween appeared to be Ino Shollar (sp) which John Derian sells around the holidays. They are high dollar. They are made in Germany. I think you could have done ok at $800. too bad they didn’t take it.

The Santa with the missing boot in the blowmold tote was a Harold Gale Santa which are very collectable. Maybe the missing boot was at the bottom of the tote. Most antique malls have a section with replacement parts like handles, knobs, etc and most have the glass chimneys for oil lamps and they may have one that fits your Santa and reindeer oil lamp which was a steal at five dollars. I think you made a fair offer of $800 for all those Halloween decorations, but the seller was putting you at a disadvantage by saying that they would take that amount on day two. The problem with their offer is that it would be likely that by day two, many of the better pieces would have already been sold leaving you with the leftovers that didn't sell which would then not be worth what you offered. Since they were not willing to negotiate with you, I think you were smart to decline the $1000. It is tough to make a decision like that on the spot so I can understand why you were hesitant. You came away with some fantastic items from that sale, many that I have never seen before, and I have a huge vintage Christmas collection. Thanks for sharing these fun shopping adventures!

@anglrxy8 ай бұрын
Princess Cruise is not the same as the Disney Cruise. Instead of cards, they use medallions. The circular thing holds the medallion. I was just on a Princess Cruise last month and we had the same lanyard but smaller medallion.

Margaritaville merchandise can sell for a lot of money that t-shirt sold on eBay in April 2024 for $17.00 dollars per owned if find the right piece of clothing for margaritaville they can sell into the $60-80 dollar price range and with the passing of Jimmy Buffet items will get harder to find in good condition.

American authorities occupying controlled territories permitted the sale and export of toys with the markings 'Made in US Zone - Germany' through the years 1946 and 1947. After the regulation was lifted, much of the same tooling was used and many of the markings continued into the 1950's.
