Quick is someone who likes to switch a lot, but doesn't sees a switch in nuke like the Golisopod as a bad pokemon. I have said it a quite a few times over the years and I'm saying it again, they have some of the best content when it comes to catching and team building but have the IQ of a middle schooler when it comes to battling. I hadn't seen any videos of these 2 since the time they hatched hacked eggs sent by subscribers, about a month back and now I come back to see this. In that video they didn't take an eviolite Chansey with fur coat, a choice band Zacian with extreme speed, close combat and double iron bash with Chilling Neigh As One. They have been doing this for more than 5 years now but it gets really annoying when these 2 show their inability to understand the basics of battling even after doing it on a weekly basis for the same time period. Especially Quick, he has absolutely 0 creativity when it comes to battling. He has shown time and again that his wins are mostly just him getting lucky with getting good mons with good moves and absolutely nothing else.

I agree that it is very frustrating sometimes because they don't make the most optimal choice, but their show is all interesting challenges and chill battles.

Technician Pin Missile is only going to be better in 65% of its landed attacks...figuring in average power and accuracy checks, Lunge averages 80 BP while Pin Missile averages 73.6. Personally, I'd go with the higher average power with guaranteed Attack drops over a move that, as long as everything stays copacetic (no Neutralizing Gas or something), *still* has an okay chance to be weaker.

Honestly you guys should start writing down your Pokémon's Abilities. If your Pheromosa has Technician, use Pin Missile instead of Lunge. Another Ability you guys ALWAYS neglect is Tinted Lens, the one that lets resisted hits deal neutral damage. Whenever a Pokémon has that, you still won't click its "not very effective" moves, probably because you've just forgotten that it has that Ability. There's other examples of this too. Many Abilities help to get around unfavourable matchups and it would be more interesting to see you guys actually making use of them more.

I'll disagree with Technician Pin Missile over Lunge. Even with Technician and STAB figured in, Pin Missile is all up to RNG...95 accuracy, 35% chance to hit twice (which is weaker than a single Lunge), and no Attack drop.

Both you and chillin catch grass, water, fire, rock, dragon and ice type. Then you both have to strategically plan your Pokemon placements and then battle where you can't switch and hope your opponent doesn't counter your typing.

Why not rock, fighting, flying instead of rock, dragon, ice? Ice doesn’t resist Dragon so it’s not a fair type triangle. Rock, Fighting, Flying is the only other true type triangle that doesn’t include the original 3 types of water, grass, or fire (at least I can’t think of any more rn).

@@Avorx see I am competitive player and I know how strong choice Pokemon are heck I use to run choice band slacking and switching is ok since you can position yourself in better place in game since this is just casual battle it doesn't matter who wins but if speaking competitive gorilla tactics is insane. This type of ability will change the meta all around e.g huge power asumaril without huge power it's worthless. Another example is mega mawile who got the base state total of 480 but it was top 5 mega of the meta because of the huge power so the abilities play a very great role in game Any way enjoy the battle man this guys are very funny and creative in there battling idea. This is just chaos battles with all randomness but that it the charm of it.

Not that I'm playing any kind of competitive pokemon but wouldn't you try to predict the used move and do a suitable switch after that first impression? Which is kinda hard in a mono type battle. Also with an ability like this I expect to have different types of moves for different situations and not only one move which is also resisted by nearly everything chilln has. I don't want to try to defend their choices (this would be way too hard slmetimes :D) but I think they often do way worse decisions than not using this Golisopod.

I have a fun idea for a challenge. Could y’all please catch eight Pokemon of your choice that all have random abilities. Both of you also get to pick out the move sets after catching the Pokemon. Once you both acquire teams, read off each of your team members’ Pokedex entries. If the one being read to correctly identifies a Pokemon entry, he gets the option to force a trade without knowing the moveset of the identified Pokemon. The player who gets the identity correct is also able to pick out a custom ability for the traded Pokemon. Sabotaging some of your own team members is legal. Let’s say that the two leftover Pokemon with easy Pokédex entries are physical attackers like Machamp. You can rigg the entire moveset to be special or support moves. The Pokemon can’t be pseudo legends, legends, paradox, ultra beast, mythical or, starters to make it a bit more challenging.

Scouted blindfold challenge idea! Be in the same randomized world and follow each other from point to point on the map. One person goes first and both get to see, scouting what Pokemon are along the route. Then the second person tries to follow the same route blindfolded until he encounters a Pokemon. You then swap roles until both have caught a full team. Max 3 skips, Sw/Sh, probably would be really fun!

Another day of posting a challenge Challenge idea- 30 mins to catch any pokemon Quick must use Blastiose and only use the move scald Chillin must use Charizard and the fire type move lava plume equivalent of scald that causes burn. If charizard or blastiose cause a burn or KO the pokemon you cannot catch them if they live and don’t burn you can throw a masterball. You cannot look at the target Pokémon’s moves only their ability pick 6 to join your team. One legend only

It's all down to luck, honestly...Pin Missile has a flat 5% miss chance and a 35% chance of still being weaker while also not dropping the opposing Attack.
