Challenge Suggestion: dupes Challenge. Look for overworld encounters, catch two of the same. Look at the moves and abilities, and decide which one you keep, and which one you give. You both do this 3 times (or more with skips). You'll end up with the same pokemons in the team, but with different moves and abilities. Might lead to cool strategies:)

Challenge suggestion: Randomized starters for your opponent to choose, but the person presenting the starters locks in one they want first. If the chosen pokemon matches, they get to steal it instead. Makes you seriously consider if you want to try to take something like a salamence knowing your opponent probably locked it in.

Challenge for ya: Read the left and right BST of the other person's starters and they have to guess the middle one if it is either inside or outside the numbers given. If they are right, they pick any of those 3 pokemon with the ability to fully evolve it. If they guess wrong, the other gives them one of the three with a only one evo (aka mid-stage). I’ll never understand why my boys never use Soak. It could’ve been the saving grace of the game. It changes the target into a pure Water type meaning, no more stab unless it has water type attacks. It’s a great way to cripple your opponent’s pokemon.

i remember a couple months ago you guys did a challenge where you went to the move relearner and got the best moveset, i feel like you guys should do this every challenge because a lot of the pokemon don’t have very good randomized movesets. i feel like a lot of the time one of you guys have terrible movesets and the other one just has one good move and sweeps the others team with it because the other doesn’t have any good moves. plus this would stop from getting moves like decorate, which definitely would not be used

Should take this same idea, but give both sides the option to skip each pokemon. Like 3 skips as a guesser, and 3 skips as a catcher. If the guesser gets the pokemon correct, they get to keep or skip if they want it. But if the guesser guesses incorrectly, they can either skip or take. If they guesse chooses to Take on an incorrect guess, the catcher also has a couple skips that they can skip it to prevent the other person from getting it.

Use same team challenge with held items. Each takes turns gathering the teams with no skips. Whatever Pokémon one catch the other also has to get (abilities and powers can be different). After 6 on each team you can use 6 held items to tweak the teams but can only use one of each item

An idea. Add 1 "evolution" stone to each which is used to evolve any pokemon you get that can evolve. Evolve it but randomize its movepool and ability again. There is a benefit of getting pokemon with better stats. But moves could be way worse.
