I think the campfire that corrupts every level is worth it to get a trinket every level. It makes mazes a bit harder but it also improves your scaling.

I'm loving this series! Hope you keep putting out more as the game gets updated. Also I feel like you underutilize the smaller towers. You had a lot of single boost tiles you never used that would have been perfect for a cheap drone/axe.

I haven’t played yet but watched a lot and do upgrades just suck? Some towers need it and it’s worth it but cheap towers feel like it’s better to just buy another one than to upgrade it with how expensive the upgrades are

Yeah I rarely upgrade 1-square single-target towers like Magic Missile or Basic or the poison Dart tower. But some 1-square like Ax or Frost are fantastic with the upgrade. I will get the appropriate upgrade for any tower on a boost square, like a tower on a speed square or range square should get a damage boost, and one on a damage boost should get range or fire rate.

It also depends where in your maze the tower is, if it's in a central location or merge point where it's hitting multiple paths or everyone coming together (or on a boost), it's probably better value to upgrade than to build another one in a less trafficked area. Especially applicable for the axes/hammers where there's limited spots they can be effective
