i was just talking about this with my dad. he had great advice. he said if you ever come across someone that needs a prayer and you offer them one, chances are you have 60 seconds right there to pray WITH them.

I like this Bible study format, it is helpful for those who are not engaging in them. I would suggest that you would open and close in prayer, again it be helpful to be an example of a format for those who don't engage in studies like this. With that being said, this passage has parallels to 1 John where John writes about claims to know the Lord yet walk in darkness. Good stuff. Also, it probably be helpful to add an old guy in there, because every group needs an old guy!
