Great video, guys. I like how now that you guys are doing videos without Jazza (though I do love him lol) you're getting much more confident in front of the camera and "presenting" and stuff. I loved seeing your interpretations of the prompts. One thing I will point out with what you were saying about cyclopes. Cyclops literally means "Round Eye" and they were split about 50/50 between those with one or three eyes, but all of them had a single spherical eye in the center of their forehead. It's just that the most famous, or infamous, of the cyclopes, Polyphemus, was one of the one-eyed cyclopes that lead to them being associated with just one eye.

I used to play a game where everyone drew a head, folded the page to hide it with only the neck showing, swapped with someone, drew a body attached to the neck, folded and swapped again, drew the legs, folded and swapped and finally the feet. We used to get some very groovy creatures at the end of it. You should try it using Photoshop, it would be fun!

We used to do this too. And there is also a version done in writing with prompts such as ‘ she said to him’ and ‘ wearing’. As long as everyone uses the same prompts this can be abused/adapted in anyway you like to generate a short story.

To Morgan: about that striga. Seems, like you went for the series route, unintentionally, since you gave pricess Adda that mop of red hair. The translation I read a few years ago (it wasn't English), only says she is "shaped like a barrel. And that "she is quicker and more agile, than she looks". Many interpret this, as a 6 ft tall strongman body type, but agile as a cat. But that can't be further from the truth if you know, she grew into this, in a sarcophagus since her birth. Even Geralt jokes about her how much easier it should it be to catch her if she is well fed. So if anything, shaped like a barrel, or chest, like a barrel just means, she is not as chesty as a 14 yo teen should be, because... well... dead and cursed. And I guess because she was cursed before birth, she would retain that baby belly too... adding to the barrel shape. To be true, the only difference I imagined her, was the hair, because in the version I read it was not described as a "mop" of hair, but as unkempt and overgrown and when Geralt casts the Aard to slow her down, her hair was flowing as if it was blown by wind, so I imagined longer and more. The torn sack looking clothing was a nice unintentional touch. Since she was a royal baby, when she was put to her not so eternal rest, she could've had a good amount of baby wraps around her. Granted when she turns back she is described without any clothing, but I never really understood that. However one thing is true. In any media, Geralt is outclassed against this beast.

It’s so funny that without context, The Strigas description is confusing. I’m a huge Witcher fan so I loved Morgan’s interpretation. I feel like they could’ve given him the detail that it’s a cursed girl but maybe that would’ve given it away too much

I love all of these designs! I think Alysha's design for Pennywise is so much creepier than the movie versions. I'm trying to imagine IT walking in those clown shoes..... And Morgan's Striga is amazing, creepy as heck! Those gangly arms and big claws make me think that it would creep on it's fingers, using it's claws to worm through tight spaces. Love the creations, so much skill to create accurately from these prompts.

Mythological monsters don't work as well because there are a lot more descriptions and depictions of them than a monster originating in a work of fiction with a single author. Morgan's oni turned out really well, but they're almost impossible to guess.

Hey Jazza and team! An idea for a spin-off of this concept that I had is to take card names from TCGs (like Flesh and Blood, Magic, or yu-gi-oh) and make your version of what that card would look like but without seeing the original art. You could maybe see the effect as well, to better narrow in the art. It would also be a cool opportunity to shoutout some of the artists for those games because there's some phenomenal work out there. Keep up the good work on this channel!

It's the skinny man aspect that really wrecks it for the Clown. That wasn't in the description at all. Also the teeth were supposed to be leaning in the mouth not sticking out with a massive underbite period and it doesn't say a skull it says empty eye sockets with glittering in them and I don't see the glittering light in the eye sockets you drew. And there was supposed to be a white face with a big red mouth and I guess you have the big red mouth but it's really a big red bottom lip. And the red orange hair is not very orange although that of course is purely interpretation so it's fine. The bandages are a very unusual feature so that would make me tend to exaggerate or highlight those by having them contrasting a bit more and they're lost in the long skinny figure and the tiny is blowing in a wind that isn't there your version is interesting and scary looking for sure but I don't think it was true to the description at all and that's what you were aiming for. The demon has two fingers on each hand plus a thumb and that's not the same as three fingers. Plus I don't see the big toenails that were discussed and the tusks could be from the top like an elephant or lion's. But if they have matching bottom teeth they wouldn't Sprout out like they were tusks poking up from the bottom as well. And if it has three eyes they should all be pretty much alike even if they vary in size. There shouldn't be a blank one that looks like a one-dimensional paste it on I and two with expression and movement in the normal places. They should look like three functional eyes because there's nothing that says a third different eye in the middle of the forehead on the regular face. And it's okay that you decided to go with the demon look because just the basic demonic shape you drew in the beginning it's pretty scary but just like her skinny man decision it colors everything in the direction of demon and so your interpretation began as a variation of a demon rather than letting the details dictate the design and then interpreting afterwards and maybe adding a few demonic touches because of that. So these are interesting and of course you're extremely talented but I don't think you quite accomplished what you set out to do which is to highlight the difference between what happens when you follow directions exactly versus someone else doing the same thing you did which is decide what it's going to be and adjust the directions accordingly!
