Sharing your baby girl's diagnosis will definitely help other mamas. Thank you! I'm so excited for you to announce baby girl's name. I'm not sure if you have time, but you should give hints of baby girl's name in your videos or on Instagram. When you do announce it I think it would be fun to include all the kids. Maybe play a game where they guess letters and in the end it spells out her name. Instead of showing the kids faces maybe the camera can be behind them while they play the game? It sounds like her name was meant to be. Since you're now working overnights, when do you sleep? How long will you get for maternity leave? If the Drs do start monitoring you a lot will you have to take time off work? Sending you lots of thoughts and prayers. You're a rock star mama!

I had sciatica with #3 as well and I looked up stretches on KZbin and they helped so much but I definitely had to do them everyday and on the bad days I would try to do them twice a day and it really seemed to relieve some pain!

Yes!!!! Sciatica is so hard in pregnancy. I had relief with massages and chiropractor help :)

I had a name picked out for my kiddo prior to my anatomy scan, I knew if it was a boy, what the name would be. When my world came crashing down bc of a prenatal dx, knowing his name made me feel connected in a way that I'm not sure I could have been. The worry was unrelenting, and my inability to find other people who had gone through the same thing was so incredibly frustrating. I just wanted people who understood, I needed data, I needed outcomes and longevity plans. Please know that fetal MRI exists in case you need better imaging than what the mfm offers you. My mfm team didn't refer me to an advanced fetal care center until I asked. The MRI helped tremendously with me needing to know all the info. Congratulations on your baby! I'm so sorry you are walking the path of unknowns currently. I see your worry, your mama heart needing answers. Your baby is lucky to have you. ❤

Thank you! I thought it was strange that knowing her name gave me some odd sense of security, but knowing you felt the same makes me feel so much more aware that it is normal! I honestly didn’t know about fetal MRI, thank you for bringing it to my attention!

@@MidwestMom I was not aware either, until I went searching. My mfm team was a little more doom and gloom and thought maybe termination was the best course of action. I endlessly googled, and figured out that fetal MRI can be done in certain cities. This was 6 years ago so hopefully the technology is in a city nearish you if you feel you need it!! I traveled out of state but I can not explain the sense of relief the fetal MRI gave me, to know with more certainty what was happening?! Priceless. And there they had a team to meet with me to go over my baby's exact findings from his MRI. I felt like that's the day I got my baby back in a strange way. He's 6 now and has some medical stuff going on, but is genuinely thriving in every sense of the word. In the early days of dx I just needed allllllll the info I could possibly find. Don't hesitate to ask and push for more imaging or answers or referrals if you need to. Your mental health and anxiety over what ifs also matters in all of this.

I would ask the doctors if you are at the right location to deliver. How many kids have they personally supported with this diagnosis. Is this the diagnosis they can fix with a suspended bag holding the intestines that slowly goes back in?

Love the name story. Can't wait to hear the name. For a minute I thought it was Truly! 😊 What hours do you work? I used to work 7p-7a but got to the point where I could only sleep 2 hours the following day, so that had to stop. Cute belly! 🥰

I work Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday overnight 6-6. I leave as soon as Luke gets home at 5:40 and then I get home a little after 6 and get kids ready, so drop off and then go home and sleep 😁 I love having the 4 days off for sure. It really works out for us!

How scary to have been given the diagnosis that your daughter has! I know how you may feel, I had my first child with the same condition. I know that there are about of unknowns but there is many others who have had great successes! Your daughter will be beautiful! No matter what! Depending on the length of baby girls name you could just show the kids and their hands as they place a letter on the screen and if it's longer than 4 letters you could do the letters and have them fill in the missing ones or have them lay out four of the letters and have you and Luke do the others :)

With the pregnancy will you be able to deliver vaginally or by C-Section? I would think the better option would be C-section. I personally would worry about the Gastroschisis getting caught up while delivering. I was just curious. Thanks for sharing.

She said mostly vaginal births occur and no research suggests that either delivery method is better than the other! We are playing it by ear depending on her size and how the pregnancy goes along.
