Congrats on making a very good version of Jet lag. It can’t be easy to come up with a game and do the original show justice. I’m trying to work out if spending a long time doing the challenge at the starting station gave an accidental advantage. For instance, the chasers aren’t likely to chase the runners to the starting station. Maybe adding some additional jeopardy for losing the challenge, for example having to reveal the destination. That would allow the chasers to do more strategising.

Fun fact: there was a fire at kings cross underground. After the fire every station had to change to prevent any more fires and the staff had to be trained to evacuate people and to stop any more trains from stopping at burning stations.

a bit of context for the sudden arrival at South hampstead- the train must have been diverted over the route through the disused station at Primrose Hill and onto the Watford DC lines... that section of track has no timetabled passenger service and is now used almost exclusively by freight trains (apart from diverted services and the occasional excursion working)

Hey guys, i really enjoyed your video today, directly after the new jet lag release today. Much appreciated ❤ Just a few quick wishes: - I know you are in a hurry basically all of the time, but try to talk more slowly. - Your editing is great, but it is almost totall screwed by the really really low audio quality. Due to quick talking or noise in the background > tubes are SO loud! And so is the London traffic above ground. Maybe try using microphones next time? - I honestly still did not get all the rules and i think i am not the only one with that problem 😅 You cant go directly from Start to Destinationen without changing? I swear that happend... and i thought teams are obliged to reveal their start location, when they are there? But why was Hammersmith&City revealed in the second chase? It was not starting point. All in all i like the partly explaining rules beforehand and then the rest during the game, but a little more information would be nice. Including repetition during the film. Please remember that each of your viewers is hearing this for the first time and need at least some time to process 😊 So thats it for now. See you next time, cause i already subbed. Thanks very much for your feedback! Viewer retention and keeping things snappy is very important but I'll try talking slower next time, at least in voiceover. I made subtitles to understand us better, as it's very hard to remain in "presenter voice" during the game, plus the loud background noise. I disagree that the audio quality is "really really low", it's just the intrusive noise. The GoPro mics pick us up surprisingly well when there aren't noisy vehicles. I definitely understand that mics would improve the experience but it adds a LOT of work for everyone, the players less used to camerawork would now have to worry about turning on two things in the absolute heat of the moment. I'd have to sync hundreds of video clips with audio. Plus we'd need to buy mics that could do the job and they're not cheap. It could be done but it would be extremely complicated and pretty much all of the production is handled by me, one guy, and this was already a huge project as is. Regarding the rule confusion: - No one went directly from their start to their destination, both teams changed at least once. - The Chasers have a live tracker on the Runners. That's how we knew they were at Hammersmith. Whilst I did do some small rule-reminders in this, I'll definitely do more in future. I absolutey considered that first-timers would watch this and tried to be thorough with explaining the rules *without* talking/repeating too much, as being concise and not boring people is important too. There have not been many comments of people not understanding the rules, which I am pleased with, but yours is still valid and I will keep this in mind for next time, trying to make it as clear as I can. You would have been on the train during engineering works when trains to Willesden Junction were not running via Finchley Road and Frognal but diverting via Kilburn High Road. The lights went off at the old Primrose Hill station where trains have to lower their pantograph from the overhead AC lines and switch to the third rail DC line. The train has to power down for that to happen.

This is almost better than Jet Lag. I do hope you do more around London. I wish I could do this kind of thing around my own city, but it doesn't have trains, and the buses run maybe once an hour, so it really wouldn't work. Maybe it would in Auckland, but its train network is far less sprawling.

Hi Ian, yes! The rule was: unless it was exactly the same train you were already on, you had to a challenge for it. And indeed, the lack of being able to re-roll a challenge was an oversight, and in future games we have a rule that keeps this mind!

If it helps, I can think of a potential improvement for a third iteration of this game... you could introduce a rule that a) a team cannot be tagged while on a train, and b) a team can only travel a maximum number of x stops on a single train- this would prevent chasers from goose-guarding a destination like Luke and Larry sorta did in round 2 With that said, loved the vids guys, it was just as entertaining as anything from the jet lag guys!

I'm actually happy because of this, because the trackers can work a lot of time, due to most of the lines having an open extension with outside, or use the bus.
