At the first hole, the reason why your ball didn't get hit was because on "apron" the machine assigns club of choice to putter on default. To hit a wedge, you have to change the club to wedge manually on the computer in front of you. Also in the rough, to not get that "15% off distance" you can hit it from the rough mat left of bunker mat.

Also, when it comes to putting on screen golf in Korea, line your ball on one of the lines near the tea. Then the system will tell you how many cups it is looking at (depending on the system, the floor will have a light to aim at after it locates your ball) For example, @9:40 of the video, Taco lines it up correctly. Then depending on the system, a light will appear near the edge of the hitting mat. You aim there. If there is no light, like how Taco lined it up earlier, one cup is roughly to the line where it changes color so roughly 2-3 inches to the left or right. hope that makes sense!

For screen golf usually each player has a difficulty level in settings you can adjust. So maybe Luke is playing on easy mode while Taco has it on hard mode? This is to adjust hadicap levels etc and typically if youre on easy mode the screen golf makes it very forgiving for that player. Either that or Luke is just pretty good at screen golf lol
