I had a concept in my head shortly after playing this about how it could be more interesting: What if the drones were instead remote controlled like Sova drones or Cypher cameras from Valorant, and you could shoot survivors to tag them with the claw trap? Then the killer would get a strong haste towards that survivor if you were are away, so you can catch up to them quickly. Haste should obviously disappear when in chase, so you can't chase a survivor close to you, then tag someone across the map just to get an unfair haste on the survivor you're already close to. Anyway, we all got interesting theories and ideas, but at the end of the day, let's remember that it's still Dead by Daylight at the bottom of it all, and I don't know about you, but I still just enjoy playing that game, and this killer is no different :D

Got to say, doll maker would be a super cool killer. Have numerous mannequin bodies around the map, you can jump from body to body controlling them. Would be terrifying. Have them mindlessly wander until you take them over. I love that concept.

Jumping from body to body would be one thing, but what if it was more of a power you activated from across the map, which just caused them to temporarily awaken like Nemesis zombies but much faster, and for just a few seconds? Would make for some scary "surrounded"-feelings, rather than just being a glorified Dredge mechanic >:D

@@Zet0r I was picturing Nemesis zombie esk mannequins wander the map and you hijack the body. A stealth hit and run killer. Where survivors can never trust the many 'harmless' mannequins that might turn hostile at any second. Killer is undetectable while walking and looks just like any other mannequin. Then can use shift to sprint becoming detectable but also now moving at appropriate killer speed. I would also make mannequins mimic survivor actions and stare at them ominously when they miss a skill check. XD Edit: Would be horrifying where multiple were hostile and could harm you. Idk if there is a way to balance it. You would need to somehow designate an area. Maybe it targets gens? Then all mannequins within a certain range rush in? If you did a cenobite chain hunt esk thing that could be neat. Where mannequins are passive until the hunt starts and then they want blood for a short time. Ability could trigger one mannequin to become hostile. Give it charges. So you can go boom boom boom. Multiple hostiles. Then you just need to specify what triggers the hunt effect.

It's not just two, no leap or special interactions like killer instinct or grab, players cannot destroy mannequins, and the mannequins wander like nemi zombies. You don't have a main body to return back to. Whatever body you are in is the main body. Plus it's a stealth killer. Twins are a very different beast. Plus twins can't teleport the main body. If anything it's closer to being hag or dredge, but I think for a spur of the moment idea it's more than distinct enough to be its own thing.

Honestly I really like the idea of a killer that's a living mannequin Imagine there's a lot of mannequins scattered throughout the map, they all can and do move, but they just walk aimlessly and maybe do creepy things like following survivors when they see one or maybe randomly sitting next to generators like if they were survivors occupying a space but not actually repairing the gen You're one of these mannequins and can change at will, like the other mannequins you walk around *really* slow, but you don't have a terror radius That is, until you start to sprint, now that you're sprinting you reveal yourself as the evil mannequin and have a terror radius and movement like any other killer The idea of the killer would be to disguise yourself as just any other random mannequin and follow people like they do, walking, once you see the opportunity or made yourself evident, you decide to start running or change the body, they'll never know which mannequin to trust I can imagine an add-on that makes all the mannequins on the map have a terror radius for a brief moment when you start running 👀

Background player + blood rush + sprint burst would be so fun. Spring burst + blood rush alone is incredibly useful for chases, but with background player, if somebody's been hooked, then, although you can't activate both sprint burst and background player at the same time, you can unhook someone, which activates background player so you can travel twice the distance of sprint burst, then if the killer decided to go for you then you can use blood rush to recover exhaustion and then activate sprint burst, you can potentially cover the distance of 3 sprint bursts with 0 cooldown, and because of the distance you will have made from background player you are much more likely to be able to last the 20 seconds before you get healed. Sure, it has a lot of conditions, but it's hardly unheard of to be on death hook and successfully saving someone without getting injured, and even if you don't get use out of all 3 perks at the same time, you'll still always get a lot of use from them individually. Edit: Background player has been changed so that it gives you speed boost for 4 seconds whenever the killer picks someone up, so even if you don't run you will become exhausted when killer picks up, which has changed sprint burst and background player from having decent synergy to background player actually making sprint burst worse by making you exhausted even when you're not near the killer and don't need the speed burst. tldr: background player has been changed so that, unless you are near the killer when they pick up another survivor, you will automatically get a speed boost and become exhausted, even if you didn't need the speed.

It can be hard to keep going, but you can now run at a constant 112%, if you're in range of dark theory you'll go 114%, if it's end game 119% (same as a noed killer), and if you've got both, the only chance the killer has of catching up to you at 121% speed is blood lust 2 (no noed) or blood lust 1 (with noed)

For those who dont know The killer can set a drone that starts scanning nearby survivors The killer can also track survivors in the drone area Once fully scanned the surivor becomes exposed If a drone doesn't find any survivors in a certain time it will deactivate and start a spinning scan Survivors come in contract with the spinning scan will reactivate the drone The killer herself can also reactivate the drones If survivors can avoid the spinning scan and successfully hack the deactivated drone, wich will remove it Failing the hacking will reactivate the drone Once a survivor removes a drone, they'll get a marker on their arm, wich will tell the killer their location This marker can be removed after some time Also her mori is very bad
