This is awesome! Cod 4 is the shooter that changes FPS games forever. 1 attachment, 3 perks, 3 kill streaks. Back when having Red tiger camo meant something lol. Now you can just buy camos. Cod 4 was great in many ways. You just had to be there.

God. I don't know what it is but the older CoDs just visually look much more appealing than the new ones. The graphics are dated on obviously, but the Downpour just looks so beautiful. Also helps that the characters fighting on the map look like they belong there...

I think what makes it look so appealing and feel good is the bad graphics, it makes for a more arcade like feel. Arcade feel is way better than a realistic feel imo

one thing that is so amazing about these golden age cods: you can actually maneuver around the maps safely. in the new games (especially black ops 6) it feels like wandering anywhere you will be faced with a dude quickly popping out and killing you with minimal time to react, in this game its so much more predictable when you will find an enemy

COD4 was way ahead of its time. I remember when IW added the killcam with a spring update in 2008, after 6 months of being killed by someone without knowing how, it was revolutionary to see a replay and that among many millions of good things. GG IW, you were way ahead of the competition and you made history for it.

Using UAV Jammer in round 1 is such a waste of a red perk. Chances of a UAV being launched in the 1st round is very low. 5:25 against the juggernaut is a prime example as to why stopping power should be used over UAV jammer in SND.

The reason why ppl loved the old cods was because guns didnt have recoil patterns so it was just a gun fight and not a drag down your stick fight for pattern.

@@deathdealerhype7819 yes same I’ve played comp on all the CoDs, if u go and shoot a walk and don’t touch ur right stick u will get same pattern everytime on old games. That’s what I would always do so I would know for example mp5 is up and right etc. New games have added a sway mechanic which is different everytime but the aim assist is a lot stronger.

@@chrisarmstrong9434 well if you take a look at my page you will see how my aim was pretty good. i didnt feel like sway has been an issue for me unless your holding ads for a long time for some reason. ive always been run and gun so for me its just been timing and movement with some aim throwin in. The new cod has made every part of that a bigger skill gap if you ask me. Nothing i cant adapt to but i understand why ppl prefer old cod

Unfortunately the way people play ruins games now. Everyone strafing and drop shotting. Rushing down channels with grenades and stuns etc. I remember how intense search and destroy games were and how little people actually moved around the maps. Great video.

Some friends and I were the last ppl on those servers back in late 2018 some days when I was off work I would sit for hours trying to start a lobby of snd one day in particular around that time I went most of the entire 16 or so hour day and never started a match. So I called it and layed my 360 to rest. 🫡 Fired up my ps4 and hopped on mwr sad to see her go and love this video but it was time and it will never really be the same. The closest you can get to those good ol days is on console mwr snd which yall can argue but it IS a better version for legit/comp/vanilla console players. A huge thank you for this one, classic. 🙏🙏
