Erin, your feelings about babies is a real thing. A lot of hospitals willl ask volunteers to hold babies in the NICU. Some parents cant be there all the time and babies actually do better with connection so you help the babies and you get your baby smell fix! My son was in the NICU when he was born and I was so grateful there were people to hold my baby and make him not feel alone when I couldn't be there.
