This is strangely hilarious to me because I just started my first day at Walmart today. 😂 Fun Fact: The vests that they are wearing (the grey ones) suggests that they are Team Leaders or Management if I’m not mistaken. Which means they are the boss of their department, making this video more hilarious knowing that lol. Also, yes we do have employees out on the floor with normal clothes (have no idea why). This can range from security reasons to them having certain positions where they don’t have to wear a vest. Edit: The grey/dark blue vests are actually old vests! And once you catch someone, have to be 100% sure before confronting and also wait for the customer to leave the store, and you confront them on the sidewalk outside the door and say they've been caught and to come to the office. But not allowed to touch them, so technically they can run. Most often the shoplifter follows their orders and follows them back, returns items, police is called to handle the matter. If repeat offender, will get banned from stores and potentially fined/jailed. Anyway, these guys would also catch camera bafoonery such as this XD
