You can also do multiple step stamping by putting the stamps in the corner and rotate the plate.

I just got this stamping press today, and found your video really helpful. I really wish I'd watched it before opening my press, as within about 5 minutes of taking it out the magnets jumped out of the packaging, snapped together, and chipped lol So I will definitely be using my purple duck tape to make a ravioli 🙂

I got this one just to do my turn about stamps but love it so much I use it for most things ! I found that I don't have to apply as much pressure with this as I have to with the Misti so much easier on my hands. I also like that I don't have to buy different sizes for small or large paper. Funny how Misti was the 1st one I bought then the Tim Holtz then this one and this is my favorite and Misti is my least favorite.

I got mine on Hsn and it came with stencils that have holes for the pegs. That is a great use of it. Also mine came with extra stamping plates (the clear top one) so you can put all your layers on different plates when you are using layering stamps.

I love this as much as my MISTI. BTW...there are little handles on either side of the upper plate and they help you press down and get a great result. It is so economical to get a few of the upper plates... and maybe not have to remove every time you want to stamp something diff>.(try Michael’s half off coupons)

I can see how marvelous that would be for the big background stamps, too. Good idea on the turn-abouts. Even if it's only those two things that it will excel at in comparison to the other stamp positioners, that still makes it very useful.

I've got mine on HSN and it came with an additional top plate (I've seen both the platform and additional plates at Joann's as well). I hadn't thought of the turnabout stamps! It might be easier than turning the paper. I like the open sides, but they need to come out with a plastic coated stamping pad for easy cleanup. I like the idea of the sticky sheets, if they ever come back in stock.

Michael's sent out a 60% off one regular priced item coupon in my email today! I bought this press, & love it. I would never have thought to put the magnets into a duct tape diy package, & thank you so much for sharing the tip about it! I've never owned any kind of stamping kit & am excited with this product! I suck at stamping without it, so now I'll be a stamping fool! I'll even have to buy a bunch of dies & stamp kits so I can use my Sizzix with them. Yay! Thanks so much!!!

So, I have a suggestion that is random yet still pertains to this video which was wonderful! You need to have a decent sized mirror nearby for when Greg does jigs and other fun things then you can just hold up the mirror for “brief moments of whimsey”..... or a camera nearby to hold up when those moments happen and cut them into the video 😆

Thanks so much for this review, I had ordered one & I received it last week. There is another top elongated piece that allows you to go up & down along the pegs if you want to stamp a repeat pattern, etc. Cheers & hugs!

Thank you Alexandra for the demonstration of the We r Memory Keepers stamp platform. Overall I still enjoy my Misti the most out of all the stamping jigs, stamp platforms etc. I was wondering about this new one by WRM. I’ve seen it on HSN but it’s nice to to see your demonstration when it’s not in a hurry. Thanks, Katz

I have been debating about getting one for months. If I had seen one somewhere in person I surely would of boughten it already. Did you say the previous one did not have magnetic surface? Is there two versions of it now?

Question: how do you make a cricut mat sticky again(I’ve cleaned it with baby wipes and it’s lost it’s stick after couple times)
@iamcalledbex6 жыл бұрын
You should check and/or edit your video as from what I can tell you are unable to flip it over and use the top side of the platform to stamp due to it needing the feet to keep the stamp elevated until you press down.
@arktisticallycreative49326 жыл бұрын

Could I use as sticky sheet on the clear block and then adhere a wood mounted stamp on it? Are the pegs tall enough for wood mount to still use it to line up and repeat stamping if image didn’t come out clear?
@bunnylands9162 жыл бұрын
It doesn't work for wood block stamps, but there are a lot of KZbin videos about how to remove the stamp from the wood block if you want to go that route. I haven't done it yet, but I might change my mind since this platform makes it so much easier to get good results.

total newbie here i have just bought a die cutting and embossing machine do i need a stamp machine or does the die cutting do the same effect please many thanks
@wyntermackenzie49524 жыл бұрын
In case you haven't found an answer for your question yet, it depends on what you want to do. The 2 machines have very different functions. If you want to cleanly cut out shapes or patterns, your die cut machine is what you need. If you want to stamp very precisely, a stamp platform is what you need. I suggest you take a look at Stacey from Scrapbooking Made Simple - she's on YT & does a weekly class on different papercrafting skills. She's done a couple on die cutting which I think you would find very useful. Best wishes!

can you use clear stamps or just w r products
@bunnylands9163 жыл бұрын
You can use it with any stamp that you could use with an acrylic block - think of it as a really big acrylic block, except it's a flat plate. FWIW, I'm really happy with this tool. The only issue I've found is that with the little bit of wiggle room that exists because the holes in the plate are slightly larger than the pegs, you can end up with thicker lines if you have to stamp an image more than once. (That's mentioned as a negative in the video.) However, as long as I'm careful to push the acrylic plate firmly against the pegs (which is much easier than it might sound), I get excellent results when I double-stamp. I've never used a MISTI, so I can't compare double-stamped impressions from a MISTI with what I get using the WRMK platform, but I'm completely satisfied with my stamped images.
